cleanliness, no free lunch!

The buildings are old,3 stories with no elevators, the bathroom and kitchen fixtures are old. The facilities need refurbishing.
I arrived with my daughter and two young grand daughters, I am 73
years old and was taken to the second floor walk up. There are no elevators on the property.
As this was unacceptable, we were changed to a ground floor unit. The unit had a horrible cooking odor and we were told there was no other unit available. Due to the oder on the first night, we got very little sleep. An air cleaning unit was placed in the suit that did little or no good. The evening of the second day we were changed to a third unit; It was better, no odor!!
In the evening of the third day, we were unable to operate the DVD player and were told to wait until morning, when we complained about the poor service, someone appeared to correct the problem.
We still have 4 more nights and one day. Hopefully the worst is over.
