Extended Stay Deluxe Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi

We have stayed at Studio Plus a number of times, My son visits Corpus often, and stays there. Most of the time we have not had any problems. Twice my son fly to Corpus, went to check into in his room and they had booked it to someone else, leaving him to find some place else to stay. Another time my son, daughter and myself had driven to Corpus, booked a room with two beds, got there and they put the three of us in a room with one bed. When I called the front desk, they told me they had, had a wedding party book rooms and were to check out that day. They decided to stay longer. We could not even book a second room or get a cot. Therefore, we were out of luck... I realize business is business; they do not want to be stuck with empty rooms. However isn't that why you need to cancel your reservation by a certain time to avoid getting charged for the room? So what guarantee are we given?? The only reason I gave it a low rating is because of above.
