Horrible service

This hotel has to be one of the worst hotels i have been to, the service was horrible and the staff was terribly rude. Nothing but bad things about this facility

a bunch of whiners!

They complained to quaker stake that the meet next door was too loud, get over yourselves! There is nothig wrong with having a meet next door, it's over before 11pm, so why do they complain?

Worse stay ever

It's a very cheap hotel, the service was awful and there was this horrendous smell. I will make sure my next visit down to Saint Petersburg for a meeting, I will be staying at a different hotel.

worst time ever

i've traveled the country for most of my life, and even more so in my adulthood. this hotel had to be one of the worse i have ever encountered. even more sub par then a few dives i've stayed in while in mexico.

dont stay here

the hotel as a resturant next to it were kids meet and break in to the hotels cars. its not safe and very poor lighting in the unsafe parking lot. becareful if you deciede to stay here

Seriously??

Stayed there a couple nights cause my sister was getting married in the area. The employee's were inconsiderate and stayed on their cell phones. I got ice from the ice maker and there were bugs stuck to the ice. And to top it all off, the room felt dingy. You know that feeling when it seemed that no one cleaned that room that well? I asked another guy at the vending machine and he wasnt impressed with the room either. This will be the last time i ever stay at that hotel.

Avoid this place like the plauge!!!

We stayed at this hotel during the holiday season and received the worst service possible from a staff that we felt was down right rude and racist. On top of that the rooms had a moldy smell coming from the AC system. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

Don't stay here if you want to sleep

Stayed at the Wingate in early January '05. Hotel is located between Quaker Steak & Lube and Highway 19. Every Wednesday is motorcycle rally night at the Steak & Lube. Needless to say, a very noisy location. Normally though I can sleep by turning on the air conditioner to drown out the noise. However the air conditioners at this hotel sound like cement mixers. I found it nearly impossible to sleep. To top it off, the Hotel is currently suffering from a mold/mildew problem (the rooms smell like feet)as the sprikler system went off around the new year.
