Days Inn Pittsburgh Airport, Coraopolis

We checked in and were charged an additional $35 to leave our car for 10 days. When we entered the room, it smelled musty, the carpet was damp, the lights above the bed were the only ones working, no lights in the bathroom either. To top it off when I looked it the ice bucket the mold in the bottom of the bucket was so bad the plastic bag could not be removed from the bucket. When I took the bucket to the front desk, he wanted to know what was wrong with it. I had to show him twice before he realized the mold was not normal. It took an hour and a half before they brought me another one. When I complained the next morning the man at the front desk said never even acknowledged I was standing in front of him. He handed me my receipt for the parking and turned away. Returning from my trip I waited 40 minutes for the shuttle; when they told us it would be 20 minutes. The driver did not speak, no hi, no questions, not even checking to see if he had the correct passengers. He just threw the bags in and was ready to go. I had $5 for a tip to give him. I kept the tip I will never stay there again and have already put the word out to the rest of the team not to stay there. The board of health is my next e-mail I am writing to complain. Please stay somewhere else. What an unhealthy mess never ever again

Coming in on a flight at 11:23 pm after a 20 hour day and looking for a day to rest and prepare for the two weeks ahead, this place was just what I needed. Close to the airport, so I can get a little extra rest tomorrow before flying out. It is a very clean and well organized room, much better than most hotel rooms I have been in. The service has been friendly and helpful in everything I asked. Great value!

- Very helpful staff - GM was a little wacky in suggesting that we conduct our meeting in the pool area - Very clean all around - Very good work area, TV swiveled into viewing at desk - No full length mirror in room - Inconsistent housekeeping - Shower only, no bath - Microwave and refrigerator in room - Excellent Internet access and speeds - All air conditioners blew continuously in facility (24 x 7) - Parking can get full - Location a little isolated, but very convenient

It was obvious from check in that the managers encourage their employees to be helpful and up beat. A couple times it was obviously forced, but the fact that they were trying was a great experience. Very clean, and very close to shopping/restraunts. Only major problem was the indoor pool felt like it was an outdoor pool. Talked to another guest, that was also trying to get in the water (neither of us could do it), said she had the same problem the month before. When it was brought to the front desk's attention, they said they would look into it. I also would have liked a few more items on the breakfast.
