You get what you pay for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/18/10
You know, most people go to cheap hotel expecting 5 star service. This hotel is just like any regualr normal CHEAP hotel. The rates are great. service is great. It wasn't in a great location, but it was right next to disney. Me and my husband had a great time because we knew what we were getting. If you want a clost to perfect hotel I suggest you spend alot more. You are most definatley guaranteed what your looking for.

Won't return!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/5/08
We had guaranteed a late arrival, only to find our room was given to someone else. We booked 1 room months prior and our family of 4 was split into 2 rooms. We were told we would have to move our luggage the next day after 3 p.m. to another room. When we arrived the next evening late after the Disney Park had closed, we found we were moved to another room with the two required beds, but 1 bed broken. We decided to leave after eating breakfast, because the dining room was so over-crowded. Tables not cleared or cleaned. We moved to the Lake Buena Vista Hampton where we had much nicer rooms and facilities, and better dollar value.

Loud A/C
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/07
The hotel has a very loud central A/C system. It was hard to sleep at night. I will only stay there after making sure the A/C system is upgraded. Otherwise OK for the price.

Doing Disney? Then stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/31/06
As we had done Disney five years ago and stayed in one of the official hotels we were looking for a different angle this year, better restaurant choice etc. We chose this hotel because of its location, although at only £374.44 for two weeks via alpharooms.com the price certainly swayed our decision. The hotel itself was excellent, always clean and tidy, staff very pleasant, polite and eager to assist any problems we may have. In reality our only problem was the toilet blocked once and it was sorted within twenty minutes. The rooms are ok, everything you expect from a fairly modern hotel. Two large double beds, table and chairs, armchair, fridge, microwave, coffee maker (coffee supplied), vanity unit, enough drawers and wardrobe space for all four of us and the essential TV for night viewing when all parked out! Bathroom was pretty standard too, shower over bath nice and hot, sink, mirror etc. The room also has a second sink in the bedroom section, just right for me to shave in while the girls got ready. Towels were changed every day along with all shampoos etc. Towels were also provided poolside and in the gym if you wished to use them. Pool isnt up to much but we never found time to use it, you can apparantly use the larger one in the Sheraton hotel next door. Gym looked ok but in Florida heat looking was enough for me! Breakfast was included in the price and was adequate if a little tedious by the end of the holiday. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, juices, cereals, toast, waffles, yoghurt, croissants, pastries, apples, oranges, bagels, porridge. Seemed like a good choice on day one but it never changed. Tea and coffee is available free in reception 24 hours along with freshly baked cookies late afternoon, these are really really nice! Oh, and dont forget to take a handful of the free sweets each day to suck while standing in the lines!!!!!! Bus service was available to Epcot at 8am and 10am (might be a 12 noon one) and returned from Epcot at 6pm,8pm and 10pm. Although this sounds a little limited it works really well as you can use the Disney busses to park hop from Epcot. If you catch the 8am bus you will nearly always get to the parks just as they open. In our two weeks the bus was only really late once, however when we complained at reception a car was called and we were taken to the park of our choice, we ended up arriving before we would have if the bus was on time! Getting back can be a bit awkward at times if you want to catch all of the firework displays. We ended up catching disney transport to one of their resorts, connecting to downtown disney then either walking or using taxis ($10 inc tip). It was actually quite nice to see not only the Disney hotel we had previously stopped at but others too. Transferring this way also allows you to experience Disneys monorail and boat shuttle services. The only park you will struggle to get to is Typhoon Lagoon as Disney only transport to this park via one of their resorts. So it means a trip to Epcot, then a resort, then the park. Alternatively catch a cab for $14, the hotel will arrange this for you. There is a large outlet mall nearby and the hotel does run a free bus shuttle daily, however it picks up midday (ish) so we were never around to take advantage of this. We chose this hotel for its location to restaurants. Within a 1 mile (15-20 minute) stroll to Downtown Disney you pass Shoneys, Sizzler, Pizza Hut, Chinese Buffet, Joes Crab Shack, Chevys, Buffalo wing bar (my favourite, although stay away from the Blazin' sauce!), Macs (of course), TGI fridays, Burger King and several others i cant remember, but all tastes are well covered. Also close to Subway if you fancy a quick bite and 7/11 for petrol (gas) and late night snax. If you are trying to avoid paying Disneys high prices then there are several large gift shops nearby too.

Yuck....y
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/23/06
My Family and I stayed in this hotel for 11 nights. On arrival the room was not ready...so the lady behind the counter ask us to come back later, and told us that she was going to up grade our room for our two kids (kids suite). After returning there was another lady behind the counter and at first she refused to give us the upgraded room, but after some time she finally gave it to us (she called my wife a liar). That was only the start. Our room appeared to be clean but after closer review it was not. Hair in the shower, gum stuck all over the bathroom wall, no face cloths and the hair dryer was covered with weeks of dust that was matted to it. We asked to have this cleaned...guess what it never got done. We were late one morning for breakfast only ten minutes left before breakfast would be over. We ran out the door with our Disney tickets left on the desk in our room...only to come back and find them missing. Surprise Surpise...We rushed to Disney and cancelled our old tickets and had new ones issued to us. This took 2 hours out of our day. The girl at Disney customer service suggested that we should make a complaint to our hotel and we did. The next day we were told by the front desk that the tickets were found in old newspapers in our room. Guess what there was no newspapers in our room. The chairs in the breakfast area could use a good cleaning...the backs of the chairs are covered in sticky skummy dirt...not only one but all of them. My wife asked the housekeeping staff to put face cloths in our room only to get a reply we don't have any after just cleaning our room. We were told to go to the front desk and ask for them....should this not be a job for the housekeeping people....I think so. The toilets would clogg up very easy. I could keep on going and going. Ooooo and for you ladies stay out of the pool. You could walk away with some nasty infection. I never ever seen anyone test the water while we were there. One word Run away from this place. Look somewhere else. From a concerned Canadian

Very nice for the price
By Sherri D, 9/26/05
If your on a budget, but don't want to get stuck at a buggy hotel, book the Country Inn. The service staff are friendly, and the amentities are standard. The pools are clean and fun to play in.

I would not stay anywhere else
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/18/05
I absolutely loved this hotel and would go there every time. The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day and were always spotless. The face towels in the bathroom were folded into pretty shaped fans. The pool was lovely with plenty of clean towels for you to use in the pool area.Great location as there are plenty of restaurants right on the doorstep with an internet access place right next door.Plenty of shops within walking distance and of course the free shuttle bus to and from Disney.Didn't eat the continental breakfast however as was all a bit too sweeet for me but other than that I have no complaints at all about my stay.Free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies in the lobby which was always open 24/7.Always someone to assist you with any problems.I couldn't get a picture on my T.V but the problem was fixed within a couple of hours.Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
