Miraloma on the Cove, Sidney

I had been going to this beautiful luxury resort a few times a year until I recieved an email saying that it's no longer being used as a hotel. Miraloma featured breathtaking views, beautiful luxury accomodations including an incrediblly well designed color palate, lovely bathroom fixtures (most awesome separate tub/glass walled shower units ever!) and all of the details in between. We especially loved the complimentary breakfast that was served where you could sit out and enjoy coffee, fresh fruit, muffins, cereal, juices etc and enjoy the serene surroundings of Super Natural British Columbia. Each unit is privately owned, and so the decision to cancel hotel service was a group one. I hope that someday they change it back, we are struggling to find anywhere thats half as nice to escape from the city for a night or two...

We stayed at the Miraloma by the Cove for five blissful nights at the end of August. What a wonderful hotel. The staff is excellent, and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. My daughter looked forward to the hot chocolate and warm cookies each night. If you travel from Vancouver on the BC ferry, it is about 2 miles to the Miraloma. Great hotel, great location, great staff. We have already booked our reservations for a week next August 2006!
