Good for Single Travellers

I got there at 2.30pm on 5th Feb and was given a room immediately. The lock was dodgy though, and Mohammed checked it and the window and asked the receptionist to give me another room - he had obviously found something he wasnt happy with. Maybe the window had been tampered with as it was on the ground floor. Anyway, after a wait of about 20mins, I was given room 805. Went into that and it was grand, not much of a view but that doesnt really matter unless your on the Meditteranean on your honeymoon. Had an hours rest as was knackered from the flight and then went off out. The receptionist directed me to the Metro and also showed me the diagram for using the shower - very neccessary to look at this! The room was cleaned every day, towels changed and everything which I wasnt really expecting as I was only there for 3 nights. The tv didnt work but that didnt bother me as I was looking at the guidebooks when I was in the room. Its not that noisy on that floor at night, until about 7am when people start using the showers, but I had took earplugs with me anyway as I live in the middle of nowhere in Ireland and wasnt sure I would sleep with all the city noise! They deffo came in useful. The room was warm which was great considering the warmest it got was minus 10. Only gripes - the maids kept forgetting to lock the door after they had cleaned and $150 was put onto my credit card as a security deposit which I wasnt told about when I booked. What do you do if you dont have a credit card? The receptionist told me it would be credited back to me so I will be interested to see my statement next month.
I probably would stay there again, but I think I would prefer too be a little neare the action, and if I ever persuade my partner to go, I wouldnt stay there - its not really that sort of place. For a first visit though, it generally hit the spot
