Clearwater Inn, Clearwater

Well we choosed quite a busy wkend. being a bit under 3hrs. away from clearwater beach we were heading home late Sat. evening & I stopped in to many inns and hotels for a room for the family, anyways we were fortunate Clearwater inn was available and with 2small kids I had to rush and take it, well omg I thought ok not bad for cost and size but it wasn't till the roaches and the roach traps disgusting. Called up manager all sorts of excuses were made about it's Fl. and we have inspectors and pest control out spraying are you serious? I said you're not talking to ignorant person here its disgusting as to why you are all running in business still it's nasty.... disgusting...

this place is absolutely horrible! the staff was rude when we asked to change rooms because we had already killed 10 cockroaches in the room we were in. then the manager or whatever kept calling us and accusing us of smoking in the room and then came to our room and started yelling at us. Seriously Lady, if we were smoking in the room (which we weren't. she said she smelled smoke on the key card??? really???), that's the least of this places problems. the sheets weren't just old, they were dirty too. I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless person! We ended up leaving and staying at the Howard Johnson in Tampa, which i might add is very nice and clean for the price.

Sorry Ms. Manager that you didn't get enough sleep. You should hire someone to manage the front desk. Sorry for waking you in the middle of the night to check in. Oh I forgot this is an Inn..... does that mean they have hours like a bank? Your Ill attitude towards guests will not win you any new (or return) customers. Your motel was about a $35 a night motel. The cookstove in the room was NASTY. Cockroaches rule the premises. Not 1 but 2 light bulbs were missing from the room. Pool was not open. Hmmmm... are you trying to run a motel? Aparently you missed school the day they were teaching motel operation. If you want return customers... clean up your attitude AND YOUR MOTEL!

this place was the most discusting place we ever ever stayed. The service was horrible, the rooms were filthy, the toilet leaked all over the bathroom, there was mold in the bathroom, missing draws from the kitchen area, kitchen chairs were held together by screws, the sheets were old and ripped, this place should be shut down by the board of health....
