U can get MUCh more for the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/01/08
We just returned in April 08..The rooms while clean are TINY..Barely place to move around. Too close for comfort for our family. My kids who love staying at hotels hated it. The pool wasnt even fun. Beds were comfy, the breakfast was mediocre at best. I got bit like crazy from the hotel and not at the parks. Every night without fail. The hotel was good at controling the 200 high school band camp kids that were there, but overall i wouldnt stay there again. Lake Buena vist a seemed so much prettier and nicer and the hotels are comparable in price..

We won't be back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/16/08
There was no water the night we checked in. They were working on it.... It was finally fixed later that night. Then the next morning during a shower the water went off again. I contacted the staff at the desk and they showed no remorse whatsoever. The response was they had called the water company. Then I also booked from the web and the front desk would not honor the price that I received. We will NEVER go back to this hotel again.....

Cheap and close to WDW
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/07
Likes: 1. location 2. price 3. friendly staff (at midnight) Dislikes: 1. Beds - nice pillow top, but too soft for me 2. AC loud - turned on/off all night - took forever to cool room 3. so-so for cleanliness; tile floor felt sticky - had to wear shoes to eliminate the gross out factor 4. Flat screen TV was cheap - speakers were crackling on every channel. 5. Dirty walls/exterior hallways - kinda gross, but room was okay Being from the Tampa area, we basically need just a bed to sleep in, and a shower in the AM. Did not do comp. breakfast, but looked very basic. Overall, great value for the $$$ spent.

Will definitely go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/11/07
Pictures are usually deceiving so I expected the worst (considering it was sooo cheap!) However, when I got there, it was exactly what the pictures portrayed! When we arrived, the only problem was that there were two ladies at the front desk who weren't as friendly. The first lady saw us walking in and said nothing to us. We had to approach and tell her we had reservations (I think she was new). So I agree with the other reviews about the service. However, for this price, you can not go wrong! The location is awesome! The longest we've ever driven was 20 mins to Universal and the airport. Everything else is minutes away. They are located on US 192 (so you could find places to eat, shop, etc.) Their sign reads "Contemporary Luxury Hotel" and that's exactly how I would describe it! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND (if you do not need any customer service that is). The bed is amazingly comfortable too (pillowtop mattress). I honestly missed their bed when I got home!

Great hotel - horrible staff!
By luvmyjoey, 09/10/07
Really liked the look and decor of the hotel. Very clean and well maintained. However, the staff at the front desk was very rude. I made reservations online through Yahoo Travel and had confirmation in my hand. The woman was very rude and grabbed the confirmation from my hand after I had told her 2-3 times my name and date I booked. I couldn't believe her approach to customer service, I would never treat anyone like that! Two days before arriving I called the hotel and was told we could check in early so we could head straight to Disney World via their shuttle. When I explained this the woman kept giggling and talking under her breath. The entire time I was still very friendly to this woman but I finally got fed up and asked what was so funny...she said that the shuttle left at 7:25am and the next one would not be until after 10am!...No one I spoke to bothered to share this information with us! This was one of the reasons I booked this hotel, so that we wouldn't have to pay to park at Disney! We were so upset! And why would she be laughing?! I would recommend this hotel, but make sure that you won't need assistance from the staff, they won't give it! Low class service!!!!

Excellent place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/07
We arrived at 1:00 AM with 4 children and although Book It had made a mess of the reservation the staff was happy to accomidate us. When our pre-paid Disney tickets did not arrive at the hotel as arranged the staff went out of their way to make phone calls and get the necessary information so we could pick up our tickets at Disney World. Staff very helpful. The room was clean and with 2 TV there was no fighting about what to watch. Plenty of towels and hot water. Large fridge and dishwasher made our vacation better. I would deffinately recomend this hotel and stay again. Thank you staff Neil

okay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/26/07
The hotel was updated, clean, friendly staff, nice surroundings, plenty of eating and shopping nearby. The not so good points are: breakfast did not have a big variety, boiled eggs, and dry bisquits one day,dry bisquits and sausage/gravy the nex, your usual pastries, cereal, ect., oh the waffles were good. The Shuttle service if you are without a car like we were, Beware the shuttle doesn't make many stops or pick-ups. You can use the nearby Radison's schedule! Or check out the Mears buses and destinations if you want to catch a ride home earlier than scheduled. Or opt to get a cab, about $14 from this hotel. We didn't think it was noisy like some said. It's Not within walking distance to Disney. Also Beware the area has sulpher in the water, a lot of eateries beverages taste bad, because of the ice in the drinks. (sulpher) This hotels ice, ect. was okay, although you can smell it in the water in the bathroom. I guess sometimes the rooms might smell musty, air-conditioning, but not bad. Comfy beds and lots of pillows, rooms a little small.

Will be back - Great Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/19/07
This hotel was a wonderful experience. We stayed for only one night Saturday 03/17/2007. First of all LOCATION! LOCATION! This is just 1 mile from Disney you are right there and do not miss a beat. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful the lady at the front desk even gave us a nice surprise, since it was the kids (2 ½ and 1 ½) first time in Disney she gave us a room with fireworks view. If we looked out the window between 8 and 10 we would see them. Cool little perk I did not expect. Room was on the 4th floor and it was spotless. Everything looked exactly as on the website. Modern room with great amenities including refrigerator, microwave, coffee and flat panel cable TV and everything worked great. Bathroom was very clean and they provided good quality soaps and shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The bed was super comfortable the only thing I did not like were the pillows (to thick for me). Breakfast was included and it was your basic mix of waffles, bagels, mini muffins, cereal, fruit and drinks. I will definitely stay here again. It was an excellent hotel for the money – great buy.

Great Hotel Location to DW
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/06
1. Liked closeness to park - just a couple minutes away from entrance. 2. Liked that it's not on the main drag with all the junk tourist retail establishments - in a nice area behind some other timeshare and hotels - abutted to the Interstate, but not heard from the room at all. 3. Continental breakfast - fair - big difference between quality mid week for businessmen and the w/ends for tourists. Most of the meal was same, but switched from sausage to sliced ham on w/end. 4. Timeshare company at Consierre desk selling cut rate disney tickets for timeshare selling time. 5. Hotel Room - Cookie Cutter - like all others, slightly small - double beds in 2dbl room - hard for 2 adults to sleep in. 6. Advertises "Microfrige available at nominal fee" - then when asked - tells you that you can store your stuff in their refrig and come get it when you need it - did not like this at all as our room was the last room in the building on 2nd floor. I do not wish to get dressed middle of night to get my drinks in a refrigerator when all I want is a drink of water or some other liquid that I want cold. - No microwave in room either. 7. Rooms smaller than normal - would be a little cramped for a family of 4, but you spend more time at park, so not that big of a deal. 8. Room was clean and well kept. No glaring issues w/maintanence. 9. OBSERVATION: Best to take showers/baths at night... Lack of hot water in AM due to visitors taking morning showers. 10. From Las Vegas - so appreciate not being near all the junk tourist stuff on the main drag - a lot. FYI: Had a pool, tennis courts, basketball on tennis courts. Didn't use the bus transportation - rented car so we were not at the mercy of the bus schedules for Disney.
