SunRise Ridge Resort, Pigeon Forge

We have stayed at SunRise Ridge many times over the years and STILL find it beautiful and accomodating. The staff is very helpful and professional and the resort is in the middle of Pigeon Forge just far enough off the main strip to be quiet and peaceful. Wonderful view of the mountains at ANY time of the year. Rooms are spacious and clean and the entire resort is well-maintained and attractive. Would definitely recommend this resort to people checking out the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.

Nice beautiful place. Pool was big enough for one or two people, and it wasn't easy to get to if you stayed in the cabins. Worst part about the place was the rude staff. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. Will not ever come back.

We loved the Smokies and the Location. The resort is older but kept up. There was a few things that either needed repair or replaced. We were required to move while we stayed there. The staff was not accommodating or helpful. The did not make accommodations for our schedule or needs. They charged us a $135.00 house keeping fee for the 2 units we were in. Thought that was a bit much. I would not recommend staying there.

We liked this condo very much. We traded for this one instead of our one in Daytona. This room was very spacious, clean and a great view of the mountains. We liked it because it was very quiet and off the main road. The bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone.

If your going to the smokies, this is the place to stay... the condos are beautiful...the views are fantastic and its away from the hub bub of the tourist attractions yet they are only 1/2 mile away. The staff is great and we'll be back.

The place was beautiful once you found it. The pools were small and uninteresting. Lots of stairs, not really good for small children. Don't bother with "Meet and Greet". Very hot, crowded and unorganized. Ended up leaving in frustration. Beware the cooking utensils, two items broke with our very limited use. Primarily for retired couples.

Always something to do any weather, time of the year. Use it as focal point of your vacation. Hiking, movies, theatre shows, anything for adults and children. Wonderful restaurants and plenty of onsite activities.

I have a large family and this place is very spacious. I can choose from a small condo when it is just my husband and myself or a cabin for more privacy... large enough for the family also, or even a lock-out condo when my brothers family joins us, it is two condos connected together for the price of one... w/ a second kitchen, dining room w/ fireplace, living room, bath & porch. What a great deal! All linens included, extra towels for the pool, washer & dryer, fully stocked kitchen (except food). What more could you possible ask for. We visit several times a year, the entire familys favorite vacation place, so far.
