Best Western San Angelo, San Angelo

WE BOOKED OUR ROOM ON LINE, NEEDED HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS WHICH THIS HOTEL ADVERTISED IT HAD. WE WERE TO STAY 4 NIGHTS. IN LOBBY IT ALSO STATED HOTEL HAD HIGH SPEED CABLE. WENT TO ROOM, SMELLED MUSKY, CARPET WAS DIRTY, IRON BURNED HOLES IN CARPET, STAFF OUTRIGHT DID NOT TELL THE TRUTH. TRIED TO GET ON INTERNET COULD NOT CONNECT, WENT TO FRONT DESK, THEY STATED THEY WOULD HAVE INTERNET FIXED, LATER WENT BACK TO FRONT DESK AND GIRL AT DESK FINALLY, AFTER 3 TRIPS, ADMITTED THEY DO NOT HAVE HIGH SPEED INTERNET. WE CHECKED OUT AFTER 2 HOURS. WAS INFORMED BY GIRL AT FRONT DESK THAT ANOTHER COUPLE HAD ALSO CHECKED OUT JUST BEFORE US AFTER LOOKING AT ROOM AND FINDING OUT THERE WAS NO HIGH SPEED INTERNET. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE FOR A PLACE TO SLEEP FOR ONE NIGHT.

We settled on the last room they had left and it was awful! Febreeze couldn't even eliminate the smell. Floors were nasty and air conditioner vent had mold in it! Both beds were uncomfortable and sunk in. Also the bathroom door was cracked. Don't stay in room 216!

We love the service and how modern and clean the rooms are. The rooms had new bedspreads and carpet. We also liked the breakfest. All requests were answered politely.
