Definitely will return!
It seems as though the other negative reviews I read here were from a while back, and I was really worried after reading them. However, after staying at La Quinta in Panama City, in January,February, March, 2008, on business, I was very pleasantly surprised! A corporate employee, Donovan McDaniels, was revamping the property, and fine-tuning the employee staff, and talk about a pleasant, professional, and attentive manager--he was the best! The few problems I had were immediately dealt with to my complete satisfaction. The only small aggravations I had were that I had to leave notes sometimes to the housekeeping staff, when they would forget to leave a box of tissues or something, but that was minor. The rooms were very clean and my suite was like an large 2-room apartment, with French doors separating the rooms. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety of items, and the pool was heated. The Jacuzzi outside was outstanding on cold nights, and there was a LOT of shopping areas, a huge mall, Red Lobster, Best Buy...all my favorite stores. Thanks, Donovan, I will definitely stay here, again!
