La Quinta Inn and Suites Panama City, Panama City

I dont like how smell the rooms. The irresponsability of the personal who give me a room after 4 hours i was there because they only have one person to cleans the rooms and they dont have a room ready. I did the reservation online to check in at 1pm they give me a room at 530pm. Really I never reserve again a room there was the worst of my desition.

It seems as though the other negative reviews I read here were from a while back, and I was really worried after reading them. However, after staying at La Quinta in Panama City, in January,February, March, 2008, on business, I was very pleasantly surprised! A corporate employee, Donovan McDaniels, was revamping the property, and fine-tuning the employee staff, and talk about a pleasant, professional, and attentive manager--he was the best! The few problems I had were immediately dealt with to my complete satisfaction. The only small aggravations I had were that I had to leave notes sometimes to the housekeeping staff, when they would forget to leave a box of tissues or something, but that was minor. The rooms were very clean and my suite was like an large 2-room apartment, with French doors separating the rooms. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety of items, and the pool was heated. The Jacuzzi outside was outstanding on cold nights, and there was a LOT of shopping areas, a huge mall, Red Lobster, Best Buy...all my favorite stores. Thanks, Donovan, I will definitely stay here, again!

Never ever stay at this dump. Need a lesson on how to clean a room. Smells like animals. I should know better than stay where pets are allowed. What is better? Animals or people that act like them roaming the halls all night

Things were clean. The bed was very soft, but the room labeled "non-smoking" smelled like smoke. Staff was good. Breakfast left something to be desired. You would think that in Florida you would be able to get soemthing other than watered-down concentrate orange juice.

I've been here for 3 months now for work, not by my choice (trust me). If you are here to get some rest, good luck. I have a wonderful view of a frieght train that comes in about 4 times a day and makes unbelievable noise. One time around 8pm and at 1 or 2am. Crazy drunken teenagers roam the halls all night screaming and slamming doors. None of the equiptment is working in the sad sad gym at the present time. Just recently their 1 dryer broke, so good luck with that. Their free breakfast sucks. Housekeeping doesn't like to close your door all the way when they are done so anyone can just walk in your door when you're not there. They also don't like to empty your tiny garbage cans and don't leave clean towels all the time. Other than that the usual one person running the place behind the desk is nice. Don't expect much if you stay here.
