La Quinta Inn & Suites Jacksonville Butler Blvd, Jacksonville

Upon arrival check in was quick. In my 6th floor my room I noticed bleach stains & cigarette burns on the carpet, my bed was sagging in the middle, with spider webbs & water damage above the other, no ash trays & a loud tv next store. I contacted the front desk & right away they appologised & gave me the key to another room to inspect. The 2nd room was better but there was a 4ft x 4ft unfinished patch in the wall right next to the bed. Quickly they gave me the key to another room. The 3rd room was perfect with the best view overlooking the pool & the city. I told them I needed some xtra things for my room like some xtra hangers, an xtra luggage rack, another chair & some xtra towels. They told me without hesitation if Ild like I could take as many items as I needed out of one of the previous rooms & to just leave a note for the maid service. The linnens were nice & towels were soft & fluffy. The pillows & beds were very comfy. The fitness center was very nice with a tv. It was also very private yet secure near the front lobby. The continal breakfast was wonderful with a full hot & cold healthy meal. I was extending my stay & it was very convenient for me to be able to take some of the fruit, bread, peanut butter & jelly back to my room for lunch. The breakfast area was quite large with a tv, indoor water fountian & was over looking the beautiful courtyard. The location was excellent with alot of restaurants for dinner. The lobby fetured 24 hr tea & coffee. My pets were welcome with ample walking space out side. The staff catered to me making me feel like a princess. Any problems I had with the 2 previous rooms were well worth the effort for what ended up to be the perfect stay.
