Grand Metropark Hotel Nanjing, Shanghai

Currently I live and work in Nanjing, China. And being in a foreign country where you don't speak the language can cause a lot of stress and loneliness that makes it tough to assimilate into the new culture. Thankfully my work placed me near the Hilton Hotel. Even though I wasn't staying there as a guest, I constantly was given all the help I needed. Friendly people greeted me at the door everyday, when I ate at the hotel, the food and service was phenomenal. When my parents came to visit, we stayed at the Hilton and enjoyed the comfort of their rooms and quality service. After they left I joined the gym, where I was able to use high quality equipment that rivaled anything found in the US. And I try not to miss a night with the lounge singers, who serenade a small audience every night with melodious voices. All in all, the Hilton Hotel in Nanjing is everything a hotel should be, and for me, it has become a home away from home.
