The room was clean and the view was great. The staff was always smiling and friendly. Breakfast was very good, It was very busy, and they did an excellent job keeping up with the demand. Would defiantly recommend this hotel when going to Ocean Shores.

Wonderful attentive owners they have servants hearts and love what they do. Great staff, clean rooms, amazing breakfast, great affordable rates FAMILY FRIENDLY.

I was extremely happy with my stay at this Hotel! The owners are by far the friendliest and most accomidating I've ever had the plessure of meeting. The rooms were pretty standard, but were clean and smelled fresh. The staff was also very friendly and you could tell they loved working there. Breakfast was excellent and there was a great variety of food. Breakfast was served by the owner, and you can tell she just loves to mingle with her customers and always has a smile on her face. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the lack of balconies. But it wasn't a big deal since most of our time wasn't spent inside the Hotel. The location is also wonderful, it is within walking distance of the ocean. If you are looking for a relaxing layed back atmosphere, I would highly recommend staying at this Hotel.

We stayed at the GuestHouse in Ocean Shores, Wa during Mother's Day Weekend, and I can't tell you how leary about staying there We were after reading a couple of these reviews. All I can say is that they have either gotten new staff or attendeded some serious customer service training. The staff was always smiling and asking how everything was. They have suckers out for the kids (of all ages) and they only cost 1 smile a piece. They do insist that the kids give them a smile. They really seemed to take an interest in how our stay was, every day! I would recommend that if you had a bad experience in the past, give them another try. This hotel is on of the most kid friendly places we have stayed at. We will definately recommend this hotel to all of our family & friends inside and outside of the Seattle area.

This place was not worth the $124 we paid for the night. The room had a odd smell, the couch was hard as a board, the tvs were static-y, there was no dvd players and when I rented 2 dvd players neither one worked. The beds were hard, the tub was dirty, and when we used the elevator it started to smell like something electric burning. there are other hotels in Ocean shores for same price & WAY better. Will not go back!

I would give this hotel a 0 star rating if I could. The shower curtain was full of black mold spots, the toilet seat was broken making it somewhat tricky and dangerous to sit on. Reported both issues to the front desk. I even draped a corner of the shower curtain over the tub to alert housekeeping. Next day, the part of the curtain that I had draped over the tub was slightly cleaner - there were still mold spots - the rest was left as is. The toilet had not been fixed. When I reported back to the front desk, I was told that housekeeping was gone for the day and that she (the surly one) certainly couldn't go up our room to clean it herself. Long story short, neither issue was resolved when we checked out 3 days later. I was able to speak to the manager who was very nice and offered a gift certificate but only good for that hotel. The room had this 'Holiday Inn Hospitality Promise' that stated that they would pay for part of the stay if they fail to resolve problems during our stay. What a bunch of crock! I emailed Corporate twice and never even received an acknowledgement let alone a response. I will continue hounding them until I get a response. I will also provide this review to all review sites I can find. In the meantime, avoid this hotel - there are a number of others to choose from at Ocean Shores!

The hotel staff was awful I stopped by just to check on availability rates and the person at the counter didn't even make eye contact while he was talking to me. He qouted me a very high price and when I ask if they honor Military Discount his reply was on a holiday weekend I Don't Think So.

The service is awful, I made a reservation and canceled it same day. The Hotel representative told me there would be no cancellation fee and proceeded to give me a confirmation #. Low and behold a charge for $119. on my credit card, I called the hotel to have the charge reversed after two weeks they told me that without thew confirmation number they will not reverse the charge "as per the Owner" This is awful, I have never experienced such dissatisfaction from a major chain like this. You would not expect this type of service from a place like "Holiday Inn" My advice is FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY IN OCEAN SHORES..... in the meantime i am disputing the charge with my credit card company.... Thank Goodness for the internet so i can let people know about the service at this place...

My family and I stay here summer of 06 we had a horrible time. While trying to take a bath the handle off the fauets broke. We were under able to bath. There was no maintenance person on site at the time of the problem had to wait til morning. No room to move us to. After dealing with the manager they wanted to give me a 10-15% off the room. This was unacceptable. Had to contact head office when I returned from trip. They sent out coupon for other hotels.

The reason I would not recommend this place is we went there 2 years ago and they said that the hot tub was getting fixed. It's not fixed yet. The remote to the TV didn't work. And the water for your shower-well make it fast cuz the hot water didn't last long. And then at 9:30am they start testing fire alarms, so hope you don't plan on sleeping in.
