Clean, No Frills
To my knowledge, this is the only major hotel chain in Hillsboro. It had good basic services with no frills.
The facility was not hard to find. It is down the street from several restaurants and Walmart.
The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I was on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator so I had to lug my suitcase up the stairs.
The bathroom was clean, but the bath towels were rather small (2x4) and low quality. The bathroom actually had a working exhaust fan, which was nice. Although when it was off, the neighboring bath seemed to exhaust into mine, so I left mine on at times.
The beds had stiff, inexpensive mattresses, but they were in good condition. I slept ok. The window did not open but I was able to modify the air conditioner so that it would exchange outside air. The heater and AC worked fine.
I don't think there were any premium channels on the TV, but there were plenty of basic cable channels.
The room had no iron or ironing board, but maybe they are available from the desk. I didn't ask.
The one vending machine was downstairs and took coins only.
Continental Breakfast is served from 6-10 and consists of two kinds of cereal, muffins, bread, bagels, and fruit. That was fine for me.
Overall the stay was pleasant. I had no real problems. It was a clean room and breakfast, and it was comfortable.
Oh, one big plus for me was free wireless Internet. That was Very Convienent and I used it a lot.
