Ramada Geneva Lakefront, Geneva

The rooms were ordinary but good view of the lake. Customer service is not so great but is acceptable cause after it's not a 5 star hotel. But whats up with the manicures stations. I am not sure if they had a day spa or guess was just doing their own nails. Did have a slight fume due to nail polish or some sort of chemical. Bottom line will not come back. With their nightly rates i sure can fight other hotels more worthwhile.

Tje location is great. the rooms overlooking the lake have a beautiful view of Seneca Lake. The restaurants in town do leave a lot to be desired. Wine tasting is great. We have stayed 5 or 6 times and have had a good experience each time at the hotel.

I recently spent 4 nights at the Ramada on a get away vacation. Check-in was fast & the girls were friendly . I asked them if I could have a fridge put in my room. They were very accomidating. I barely put my suitcases down in my room & there was someone to hook up my fridge.I had dinner at the restaurant & sat outside. It was great!! And being right on the lake...you could'nt ask for a more perfect location. Any of the staff I came in contact with were very helpful & friendly. The housekeeping staff that maintained my room did a great job every day. The free WiFi comes in handy too. I make a yearly trip to the Finger Lakes & I will definately recommend this hotel to others & will be back again & again!!

We were so looking forward to having dinner at the Ramada Inn sitting outside. We got there about 8:00 and were told there would be a 20 minute wait, but probably not that long. So we waited. We stopped at the bar and ordered a beer and a non alcoholic pina calada. We were told rudely that the machine was broken and could not have any ice drinks. So we went outside to wait near the tables. We waited 30 minutes and still nothing. My husband went inside to see what was wrong and they actually crossed us off the list and said we were already seated. They said we had to wait 25 more minutes because other people were ahead of us now. A waitress came to our table with menus and apologized but said we would still be waiting. Guess what? We walked out and will never return. Thank god we are not tourists, that would be really embarrassing. This place needs manners 101 and to get better attitudes towards the people that keep them employed.

There is alot that could be improved for the money you will spend. The location is so strange and not what I expected from the web site. The town is run down, dirty, and lots of houses around the hotel are falling down. So do not go for the view. There is train tracks right there and everything. I assumed this would be more vacation oriented but it is really for buisness people who work all day and just need a place to sleep. The pool is microspopic. Do not think you will swim. Staff lacks charm.

They say they have a pool!! The pool is about the size of a king size bed, so don't think your going to be doing some laps. The gym consisted of a treadmill weight bench and a bike, all of wich are very out dated. Jogging track?? Maybe around the lake. I,m sorry but there was really nothing I like about the Hotel. The girls cleaning the rooms will take all day. So, if you need to get to your roon go after 4pm it should be cleaned by then.

I kept an open mind after seeing the other reviews on this property and I thought the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The food and staff in the restaurant was great and the view over Seneca Lake is beautiful!! I would definatly stay again!
