Sleep Inn Las Cruces, Las Cruces

Not willing to refund or provide any accommodation for a room main door lock malfunctioning. Acted like it was something that never happens, but it did with my wife a few weeks before, they offered her a different room . The issue this time was the Inn was fully booked and did not have another room to offer. Other offerings in the Las Cruces area were a better value.

We were there for the Graduation on the weekend of May 8 & 9...we had made Reservation at other place but we didn't like the place to we chance it at Sleep Inn..and with our luck there was someone who had cancell..and we were lucky..the room was nice and the location was perfect for us...walkin distance to the Pan American Center..so we give it 4 star to the commadations.

Stayed at the Sleep Inn Las Cruces due to the close proximity to Intramural Field,there was a concert that my children were attending.First of all I must say being disabled it is very hard to find a hotel that is this comfortable.I was given a room very close to the elevator,i was worried due to the concert,kids running around,i thought it would be noisy,i heard nothing from my room right across from the elevator.One of the hugest problems i have when staying in a hotel is the bed,they are never comfortable i always bring my own air mattress to sleep on,not necessary at Sleep Inn,the beds were wonderful.Elevator was a nice surprise also. I don't know that any other hotel will ever be able to measure up.The breakfast was great,make your own waffles,nice selection of continental type breakfast foods,nice seating area,very very attentive to filling the foods as the patrons emptied the bins/shelves. Staff was beyond wonderful A,J and C were the best 2 were day shift 1 night shift,they were very concerned that i was comfortable due to my disability.My whole goal in staying at this hotel was to not have to drive anywhere to get what i needed,i stayed in,i cannot walk,but the kids were able to go where they needed to without problem. The kids were able to use the pool,but it was a bit over clorinated for me,it afftected my ashtma.It being an indoor pool/spa there was no where for the fumes to go.Unfortunately this meant i could not use the spa either due to the clorine fumes.They second day an employee had clorinated the pool even more and for customer safety they closed the pool/spa area.This is the only thing i was disappointed about. Clean rooms,great service,wonderful beds.I am very thrifty kind of thought the price a little high but after getting there and seeing how wonderful Sleep Inn is the price flew right out of my mind.Geez talking about all this makes me want to go back just for the heck of it.

The Sleep Inn is within walking distance to the best coffee shop in Las Cruces. BUT they have raised their one night stay price from $79. to $119. per night just during the August 2007 New Mexico State Senior Olympics which will be held at the University nearby. Unbelieveable and I will NEVER stay at the hotel again.

While visiting New Mexico State University, my son and I stayed at this hotel because the university didn't have housing and recommended it for its close proximity and reasonable rates. I wasn't familiar with the Sleep Inn chain but thought it would be at least as nice as a dorm room that we had prepared to stay in for the night. I am disabled and so appreciated the hotel's elevator. Too often I find hotels with split levels or second floors and no working elevators. Thank goodness for Sleep Inn! Everything was sooo comfortable, convenient and clean. The people had big smiles and great attitudes. While the students have a nice set up at NMSU, the parents across the street can have something much better, and a fine housekeeper to boot... I highly recommend anyone visiting Las Cruces to stay at the Sleep Inn! The service was great, beds comfortable, rooms clean, pool/spa and hot breakfast were quite wonderful surprises...what a value! It was a nice home away from home for "Mom" or anyone visiting Las Cruces!

The service staff was very friendly. The Sleep Inn has all the amenities I look for in a good hotel: cleanliness, a pool, refrigerators in the rooms, and continental breakfast. The Sleep Inn is a great place to stay.
