Residence Inn Atlanta KennesawTown Center, Kennesaw

It's a great location if you're visiting Acworth, GA. My stay if for a business trip and I prefer staying at Residence Inn because it gives me the feeling of "home away from home." The full kitchen and living area just makes it better than the typical hotel/motel. Upon my arrival, to my horror, there were 3 police cars outside with their lights flashing just outside of the main office. What a welcome for me after a hard days work and 2 hour flight. Apparently, since this hotel is just a block away from I-75, a motor speeder decided to end his chase and parked outside of the hotel!!! Let's just say that this is an isolated case. Free internet access, although, it needs to be upgrade to wireless. But worst is the AC motor located next to the bed. The room insulation is terrible that the temperature changes every 5 minutes which kicks off the auto temp and drives the AC on. It's ok if you're awake, but when you're trying to get some sleep from midnight to 5AM. FORGET ABOUT IT. There's ample parking but not if your room is located at the back. The back portion of the hotel is the woodlands, and you'll have to park up front. It's very clean, towels are plentiful. Free breakfast and the pool is temperature controlled. Overall, it's great for families with kids and for business travelers.
