Executive Inn, Wichita Falls

Likes: convenient location, well lighted parking lot and hallways, nice staff, spacious rooms, cheap price. I was there with a dog for a dog show, so it was also nice to have plenty of grass around :-) Dislikes: my mattress was too hard - for my taste anyway - and the room cleanliness was so-so. In other words, the sheets were clean and the bathroom was clean enough, but there was a lot of dirt in the corners. But I don't walk around barefoot in hotel rooms anyway (no one should!!) so that isn't a biggie for me. There are also some repairs needed - loose wallpaper and the like. But I would stay there again in a heartbeat for the price.

This place is nasty! It is right on the edge of the worst part of town. What bothered me the most is the maintenance person was on television as part of an investigation into an attempted homicide! He was part of a group of individuals who brutally stabbed a young man earlier in the year! Stay here ONLY if you are well armed and I wouldn’t leave ANY valuables in your room or vehicle.

After I booked this hotel I saw negative comments under the reviews and was very pleased when I arrived. It must just be the people who complain who write this stuff. The hotel isn't the Ritz (you can tell that from the room rate) but it was clean and tidy and for the price that warrants 5 stars. The free continental breakfast was great! And the staff was very friendly. Although their directions were quite a bit off, the recommendation for a local restaurant was a spot on! For the money, I felt like we received good value

I stayed here 2 nights. It is the worst Choice hotel I have ever been to. The room was dirty with dust bunnies in the corners. The bathroom tiles were mildewed. The room smelled bad--I had to go to the store and get my own air freshener. The common areas were filthy with dead bugs everywhere(including my room). The pool was closed the whole weekend and the internet service was down. Aside from the convenient location, there is no other reason to stay here. We were told we could use the pool at the Comfort Inn next door(since our pool was closed). The Comfort Inn pool was filled with green water, leaves and debris--I could not even see the bottom of the pool. I will never stay here again!!!

What a dump. I had a room right off the main lobby, with an inside entrance to the room. When I got into the room, there were dozens of huge crickets crawling around the room, 6 in the shower alone. I understand that at certain times of the year the crickets get bad in this part of the state, but this amount in my room was crazy, especially since there wasn't an outside entrance. I was very dissappointed since I stay at a lot of Choice hotels, this was by far the worst hotel I have been at in years. The front desk was apologetic and prfessional about it but..... I went to the Comfort Inn next door, read my review on that one, pretty sad.

Nothing spectacular nor bad, just a chain hotel that fits the bill for a night or two stay. It fits the bill for the road trip.
