Trianon Bonita Bay Hotel, Bonita Springs

we"ve stayed here twice and love it.the staff is friendly..the lake house and staff are great...this place is our true home away from home...we will not stay anywhere else when we go to floridia.close to everything beachs..shopping..

Comfortable room and bed. But the continental breakfast was inexcusably poor. Very limited choice, and not very good choices. I was really annoyed by what looked like bagels, but were just bread dough. They were not real bagels, made from the correct dough. It would take little effort to put out a nicer spread.

We just returned from a trip to the Ft Myers area and stayed one night at the Trianon Bonita Bay. We had a conference at the Sanibel Harbour Resort but arrived one day early and chose the Bonita Bay area for the evening. Although the room was nothing fancy, we found it to be clean and comfortable. Had we had to pay rack rate we would have been disappointed in the appointments, but we got a rate of $149.00 on priceline and thought it was reasonable for the accomodations. The foyer area and location are wonderful. The bathroom had a tub, sink area, and a large tiled shower. The water pressure was great. The bed was a king and was very comfortable. We had a nice view of the lake and of the lakehouse grill which is on site. We enjoyed a drink in the lobby bar before going to bed and chatted with the bartender. He gave us some advice about the area which later proved to be helpful. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. The next morning we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the lobby which had the usual cereal, pastries, bagels and fruit. We later dined beside the lake at the Lakeside Grill and found the food to be good. My DH had a burger and I had fish and chips which were both good. We would stay at this hotel again if we found a good price as we did this time. I would rate it a 7 on a 1-10 scale.

The outside of this hotel looked very promising, but after one night I can agree with the other negative reviews. Hotel is dirty and outdated. Staff in the outdoor bar were rude and unpleasant. I will not be coming back.

Dirty rooms, rude staff(esp. front desk). Stay at the Hampton Inn down the street. This hotel is outdated and not worth your time or money.

The location was excellent and we were extremely disappointed.Though the entrance was nice the room was very tired looking and dirty. The bathroom had mold and mildew along with a very poorly plaster job to cover up or mend. Even the coffee pot was broken with odd mis-matched pieces. The desk manager could not have care less.

Have stayed at the Trianon Bonita Bay hotel twice over the last month for business. The first time i just assumed that i hit the staff on a bad day and that the room just didnt get cleaned as well as it should have been. The carpet was dirty, the beverage glasses were dirty, the wireless internet does not work in the rooms, and the hotel staff seems not to care. great price, great location, but wont stay there again.

Excellent location and accomadation. A large bathroom with a double shower and bath. The continental breakfast made a good start to the day. The shopping area nearby had some very nice restaurants.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and have had nothing but good experiences. It is modern, clean, and quiet. The only thing I noticed last stay was the wall mount AC units which are less preferable to central AC in terms of noise in the hot months. The Promenade next door is very tranquil and has some really good shops and a Starbucks. You will need a car in this part of Florida as things are spread out considerably. This hotel is very fine and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I stay at the Trianon while on business in the area approximately twice a month for 3-4 days. The staff is very friendly. Location is great; I enjoy strolling through the Promenade and it is a convenient location for my job. Best of all: the new mattresses. I never slept better!
