Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/West Mifflin, West Mifflin

My mom and dad stayed there last week for their 40th wedding anniversary. I just wanted to compliment the staff on the exceptional attitude and job they provided for my mom and dad. They couldn't stop talking about how nice and friendly the staff was. Jill was exceptional with my request for early check in. (We were driving in from out of state) The room was awesome. Clean and good maintenance. Whenever my mom and dad called down for a shuttle ride, there was absolutely no issue or wait for them. The staff at this hotel is what every hotel should strive for. They are proud of their jobs and it shows in their attitudes. Well worth the cost of the hotel. Nicest one I've been in in a VERY long time.

We almost didn't pick it because of those negative comments but the place was normal, (clean, comfortable, friendly/couteous/helpful staff), and included breakfast with more than I expected - scrambled eggs (real), toast, and juice in addition to the usual coffee, doughnuts and bagels that most places have. My only complaint is one I have for 90% of every motel/hotel I ever stayed at - no outside air ventilation. I know they do that to save energy but I like smelling some fresh air at night.

Our room and hotel was very clean. There are two entrances into the parking lot, one at a traffic light to make re-entry onto the roadway less stressful. The staff was not only polite but helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic!

The room was dirty. (Hair from shaving and burned out cigarette behind the bed...a non-smoking room as well) After reporting it to the desk two days in a row, it was never taken care of. The satisfaction quarantee was not honored.
