this was by far the most horrible hotel i have ever stayed at. i will never return the man at the front desk was unexceptionally rude to us charging us 80 dollars for one room. went to my room it looked ok but not worth 80. upon opening my room the was two burnt out lights one that was completely broken from its socket and the bed was covered in little black stains. Even after trying to spend as little time in the hotel i still woke up sick and so did my buddy. it was not an enjoyable experience will never return to this hotel ever. I am pretty sure this hotel is ran by the man and his wife it has potential just not with them in charge.

The man at the front desk was very rude we asked for a 1 bed room he gave us a 2 bed room. I call the front desk and said sir i asked for a 1 bed room, and a disrespectful tone he said they cost the same and hung up the phone. It was 80$, this motel is a 30$ motel at the most. The motel 6 across the way was much nicer and half the price. My friend who stayed in the room next to me decided to take a late nigh showe he said the room made him felt dirty with the stained bedding he even said in a part of his room had carpet missing. Back to the point he took a shower at about 2 in the morning and he gets a pounding on the door to get out of the shower because the water from his shower was going into the room below. SO he finished his shower with a rag from the room, which by the way was dirty. That continental breakfast plz don't make me laugh old bagles and english muffin and cheap coffee and cheap cereal. Pathetic. We went to the pool after what the deepest was four feet and it was maybe 20 feet long pathetic. and the walls had water bubbles in it was humid and disgusting. Save your self the horrific experience and the 80$ DO NOT STAY AT THIS DUMP IT IS THE WORST PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN.

This hotel gave us bed bugs. We checked the room very well when we arrived, but that night after laying down for a bit we had tons of bed bugs, big ones. All over our pillows and us. Absolutely awful! We left in the middle of the night and demanded a refund. Ended up doing the long drive home strait to a laundry matt to try and prevent it from infesting our homes. AWFUL!

We checked in cause the owner said that we wouldnt find anything else.. I should have known not to staythere since the front desk was behind a glass window... We were going to stay in the spa suite. But there was nothing suite about this... It looked like somone had broke into the room with a crowbar.. The air was not working so my husband went and asked for a fan and he gave us a fan without a gard!! Really!! The hot tub was not working and he blamed it on us for it not working... I called my credit card company and told them that we were leaving and the owner refused to give us a refund... Had the owner talk to my credit card and he was bad mouthing us while we were standing there.. If you want to have good business they need to keep there rooms CLEAN and treat there customers with RESPECT!!!

Just calling to find out their price was a traumatic experience for my wife. She ended up in tears from talking to the owner of the hotel! She had been calling around the country all week to plan a trip for us, and when she called this place, the owner was rude to her, called her names, and hung up on her. Our plans were not set in stone, so we were trying to plan according to which place would get us the best price on which day. Well, there must be something going on the weekend we were planning on because they are sold out on that Friday. The owner first hung up on her after saying "We are sold out that day." When she called back, he told her that he said they're sold out and hung up again, before she could even finish her sentence of asking if they have anything on Thursday. She decided to try calling the next day, maybe she would get someone else that was nicer and would actually listen to her. No such luck. She called three days in a row and got the same guy. Every time she called, he recognized her voice and did the same thing to her. Finally, today, she instead asked to speak with the manager, and insisted she would only speak to him. That's when she found out the man she had been talking to was the owner of the place. When she asked him why he kept hanging up on a potential customer, he told her that they are in a very bad ice storm and the phone probably just cut out. My wife is not stupid. She knows what it sounds like for a phone to be slammed down and hung up. She told him that she knew the phone had been hung up and just wanted to know what the rate was for an alternate date and she didn't understand why he would be so rude. A simple apology might have gotten us to still go there, but he just wanted to argue and call her names. She ended up crying by the end of it. He told her he didn't care about losing her business. He said "There are other fish in the sea!" Don't get hooked by him! We certainly won't!

What an unappealing place. Dirty looking---dark, dingy--a dump.

The only thing that was good about this place was the location to the casino. The owner was not friendly. The pillow cases and sheets were stained and dirty. The whole place pretty much smelled of smoke. The sheets had random hairs all over them. It was quite disgusting and not worth the price. I would not recommend staying here. I know I will never go back, I've stayed in sub-par motels but this was by far the very worst.

We stayed here as a result of everything between Ft. Dodge and Des Moines being booked solid. Very rude service, room was disgusting. Carpet was dirty, bedsheets had stains on them, pillows with mismatched cases, broken screen on window, the hallways were filthy. Room smelled, shower dirty. The guy at the check out was not even concerned with our stay. We looked at breakfast and it looked as if the same bagels had been offered for days. Only two washclothes available in room. Just a horrible horrible place. The pool was TINY and smelled aweful. If you can avoid it, do so, drive further, don't stay here if at all possible!!!!

we stayed here as a girls softball team 8 rooms- all had a smoke smell to them,air conditioning did not work in most and the hall ways were blistering hot. The rooms were dated and bathrooms were discusting-ants ,dirty towels. Had to beg for any extra towels or room keys. Pool was way to small and very dirty.not the place I would want to be staying with young kids as a few of the guest had permanent residence there as a half way house. Price was 89.00 a room and so not worth the price. I do believe there are truck stop motels in better shape. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
