Good Location
By ,
Very short walking distance from the harbor, shopping, and quincy market. Comfortable place. Great bed's. Homey, accomedating service for tourist attractions and directions etc. clean, great historic feeling. Bar below right next door. Somewhat noisey on a friday and saturday night (but not unbareable) well worth it. I usually have very picky taste and I enjoyed my visit. It is a great location to anything you could need or desire. they also have hbo hbo2 on tv while you're falling asleep at night. good time, right next to a subway station just two stops away from logan airport, good downtown city place to stay. also right across from the black rose irish pub where they have great food.

LOVED IT!!
By ,
I surprised my Husband for his fortieth birthday with a trip to Boston. With never being their any only having the internet as my guide, I chose this hotel and we LOVED IT! I was very cozy and has a historical feel, closest hotel to airport, aquarium, Quincy Market and Faniul Hall. The staff was very polite and helpful with there their own personal recommendations for the city. Highly Recommend This Hotel For All.

I would def. stay again
By ,
My boyfriend and stayed here for a weekend. The parking garage was great, very secure and only 10$ overnight! It was only a short 2-3 min walk to the hotel from there. If you have a lot of luggage it may be difficult seeing that there is no curbside drop offs. However a weekender bag is easy to carry from the garage to the hotel. The location was great. The aquarium is within minutes of walking, along with the many resturaunts, bars and clubs in Fanuiel Hall. We stayed on the top floor and had a city view. We prefered to be able to look out the window at a view vs. a courtyard. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would def. make this my first choice if coming to this area again. My only complaint was that there was no continental breakfast in the morning, but there are def. plenty of places around to eat.

nice
By ,
Room is small but nicely appointed and clean with contemporary decor, apparently recently remodeled. Big flat screen TV and stereo in room. coffee and internet terminals available in lobby. Few other frills. Quiet and well located. Staff friendly and helpful. My only complaint about the room is that the electrician wired everything off the main room switch, so the bedside lamps will only work if the ceiling lights are turned on! Price was reasonable.

Absolutely loved it !
By ,
What a great hotel; location was ideal for shopping and sightseeing (Aquarium station right outside hotel, Faneuil Hall and Freedom Trail just around the corner) and the room was very lovely (city view, good bed and bathroom). Restaurant was closed so I have no opinion about it, but lots of restaurant around the city so no problems there. I will definitely visit again!

Location is only Real positive
By ,
Loved the location -- walk to North end for great Italian food. And really close to Quincy Market. The hotel itself was underwhelming. Renovations in progress and working at night when folks are trying to sleep. The staff seemed indifferent to the guests and not friendly or welcoming at all. The rooms are cute -- no curtains only mini blinds on window. Hear everything from the street - bright lights shining through the windows all night. Old bathrooms - which give the appearance of uncleanliness. Not even a laundry bag available. Computers set up in lobby for printing boarding passes and such but didn't work and the staff barely tried to help. The lobby gave the feeling of also not being clean. I would not stay here again.

Would recommend it to anyone
By ,
this really is a great place to stay. its in a very convenient location with the airport only two subway stops away. plenty of things to do straight on your doorstep (new england aquarium,IMAX theater, whale watching boat trips) and even more if you hop on the subway (the blue line is literally right outside the door). great value for money and charming!

Will Definately Return
By ,
Best value for such a convienent Downtown location. T stop entrance just outside of front door. Very easy walk to Boston Commons for walking the Freedom Trail. Quincy Market only 1 to 2 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Although the attached restaurant was closed for remodeling, the bar next door was appreciated for both food and drink. The convienence store two doors away was a plus. The rooms aren't huge (except for the 12' ceilings), but who cares when there's so much to do nearby. They'll get my business again.

Won't Be Staying Here Again
By ,
The rooms were very stuffy and neither the evening staff at the front desk nor the management were eager to help. In general, the staff at the front desk was not helpful, didn't seem to care, was not knowledgeable of the city, and at times, rude. The rooms are small and without windows to the outside. The location is convenient (across the street from the subway and 1 block from Fanueil Hall) but with the mass transit system the location doesn't come close to making up for the price of this hotel and the poor service. Next time I will stay a bit farther out from downtown and use the subway more. I won't be going back to this hotel.

Great place to stay
By ,
Great place to stay. The location is wonderful. The T station is in front of hotel, Long Wharf and Legal Seafood is about 2 blocks away and Quincey Market is also about 2 blocks away in the other direction. We lost the remote and it was replaced about 10 minutes after we called. We did receive a wake up call and did not ask for it. They called the wrong room. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was small but very clean. I will stay here the next time that I am in town.
