I wouldn't recommend it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/28/07
The first thing you notice is that the common areas are not well kept - the carpets are stained and it just feels dirty. When you get to the room, it is dark - cheap owners put in those super-low-wattage, very dim bulbs - probably to hide the fact that the room was dirty and shabby - carpets are stained and sheets are worn thin. The carpet in the room was hosed down with a triple-dose of that Teflon stain-resistant coating that makes it feel all soapy, ugh! I didn

rat droppings in our bed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/2/06
this place was horrible! We checked in and then went to visit family. when we returned that night , exhausted, we pulled back the covers on one bed and found rat droppings on the sheets. We proceeded to pull back the covers on the second bed in the room and though there wenen't as many, there were STILL more rat droppings. we called front desk, and they stated they would move us to a different room. the next room had clean beds, but there were rat droppings in the bathroom. my husband stepped in them, and called front desk again. their reaction was, well what do you want us to do? send someone up to clean it up for you? my husband stated he had already done this after stepping in the middle of them. They offered no further assistance. The next morning my husband asked the cleaning lady if they had a problem with rodents. She stated that yes, they did, and she would let the owner know what had happened to us. at checkout, we mentioned again the droppings. no one seemed to really care, they charged the stay to our card, and we left. no sorry, no compensation, no nothing! STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN HEALTH RISK!!!!

Poorly maintained, overpriced
By Dorky, 1/27/06
Dingy, poorly maintained room. Location near canyon is good, though property is in a shopping mall parking lot. We got out as fast as we could.

O.K. without the distractions
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/26/05
Rooms were average but clean. Continental breakfast was good. If you wanted breakfast, Denny's was in walking distance. Everyone was helpful and nice. Just off the Freeway. Only problem I had was the trains blowing their horns a couple times at night.
