Comfort Suites Jacksonville, Jacksonville

Called the Hotel looking for a pool for swimming. (it was hot) When I arrived the lobby was beautiful with cookies waiting and mints. The room was nice but was missing sheets. (Brittany delivered them quickly and was wonderful) The pool was DISGUSTING. (I'm surprised I got in, the heat must have gotten to me. Water was murky with sand and garbage in it. I wasn't in very long and showered long after) When I headed back to my room, the back hallways needed a vacuum weeks ago and I also realized I was missing towels and a shower curtain. (Brittany was at my door within two minutes and sweet) Looking around I realized I was missing many other things in the room but was willing to compromise than have to call the front desk again. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff wonderful. But would not stay again! (Room missing stuff was just an over-site of a cleaning person... BUT Pool area was really that bad.)

I stayed here for my first couple nights in jacksonville before renting an apartment and it was filthy disguisting! The hallways looked like a bomb went off in them, the walls and carpet were all tore up. The bedroom smelled like a dog and the carpets were damp from who knows what. Staff was scary and unapproachable.

We stayed here while waiting to see our Marine son at Camp Geiger. It was great! The room was big and so was the bathroom. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was great. We were very close to Camp Geiger and Camp Lejuene. There was plenty of stores to shop at and the restaraunts were close by and very good. If we ever have to go back to Jacksonville I would definitely stay here again. I wouldn't even look for any where else to stay. If you are a military family staying in Jacksonville I would highly recommend Comfort Suites.

Our rooms were spacious and clean, the free breakfast was amazing, every staff member I saw was friendly and helpful. This hotel was an outstanding value. It's very close to Camp LeJeune. We had 3 rooms for our welcome home get together for my US Marine son in law. I highly recommend this hotel. We all had a great weekend!
