Best of the Best in Lafayette!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/09
Maugie and Pay make it sooo special!! They are the epitome of true Southern charm! They truly love to entertain and the atmosphere is so inviting! The authentic surroundings and breakfast make you feel like a true french traveler! Highly recommended-just ignore the haunted part!!! The jet tub in the Mary room is awesome too!!

Wonderful Time!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/2/09
My two children and myself just loved the house and the hospitality of Maugie and Pat. They are wonderful hosts - not to mention the great food. The house was comfortable - we had plenty of room and privacy. I will mention here my children are 11 and 14 - I would not take small children to a bed and breakfast. We will definitely return if in the Lafayette area. Purchase the cookbook - great recipes and ideas.

Nice getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/9/07
T-Frere's was a nice weekend getaway. The food was fabulous, the service was great. Not thrilled to find out there was a ghost that lurked the halls of the house, but luckily enough, it didn't bother us. Would highly recommend for those that are not a chicken like me.

A tradition in the making!
By Heather, 2/4/07
Maugie and Pat are the greatest, most charming hosts EVER! The house is beautiful, the food was amazing and the accomodations lovely and comfortable. I loved eating breakfast while listening to Miss Maugie's hysterical stories. Don't pass on the chance to stay at T'Frere's!

Pure Heaven
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/9/06
T'Frere's is a wonderful place. Maugie and Pat Pastor are very gracious hosts. They totally pampered us from arrival to departure. They made us feel very welcome. The food was AWESOME. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The glassed in porch was very pretty and romantic. I loved the long front porch with a swing to sit back and relax. Maugie and Pat really catered to our every need. They even made dinner reservations for us the night we arrived. The Breakfast was DELICIOUS. We would love to go back and stay a little longer. I can't imagine any better place or any nicer people. Every detail was perfect.

Can't Wait to Go Back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/10/05
We loved the owners Pat and Maugie and it made our honeymoon special and we are actually headed back for a birthday/anniversary getaway...They have great breakfasts and can offer you help in planning any adventures you want while you are there. They recomended some wonderful resturants for dinner and cajun music and food! Can't wait to see them again! The Mary room is gorgeous and very comfortable to stay in, but you have to try all the rooms they all have a unique theme.
