Don't stay here

1. Hotel is promoted as a CDG airport hotel "within 10 minutes of the airport". It is nowhere near the airport, it has no shuttle and is a 40 Euro taxi ride from CDG one way.
2. The non-smoking rooms smell like an ashtray and have burn holes in the bed linens. The furniture has worn holes. Carpet stains and burn marks. Marks on walls.
3. For the low cost room and high cost of taxi transport, you could spend less staying in a REAL hotel right inside your CDG terminal.
4. Wi-fi is 8 Euros per hour but the server doesn't work for the first 40 minutes until you have made a bunch of phone calls to the front desk.
5. This is one of those hotels which was probably really nice under original ownership, has been bought by mideast interests and is being allowed to deteriorate until someone condemns it as uninhabitable.
6. The hotel does NOT have a restaurant and the close-by McDonalds and KFC were closed when we were there. The desk clerk gave us some stale peanuts and potato chips which was our only meal of the day.
7. The bed was very uncomfortable and wafer-thin pillows impossible to sleep on.
8. Other than the overall high cost, terrible location, stinky / dirty / scary / deteriorated room, it wasn't a bad place.
The front desk clerks are really trying to be helpful and the fact that they work in a dump is not their fault.
The continental breakfast was very good but overpriced at 12 Euros. The breakfast room was clean and comfortable.
