Good for business, good service
By NatMass, 04/23/09
Stayed there for one night only in March'09. No problems at all. Check in was polite and efficient, room was clean and comfortable - they have just been remodelled I think and the King Bed was very comfortable, like a Westin Heavenly Bed or Sweet Sleeper or whatever they call it. Haven't slept as well as that in a hotel for a long time. Breakfast was fine but I didn't touch the cooked stuff. Only poor aspects were the corridors (which are due for remodelling I understand, and the check in staff apologized in advance for), and the close proximity of many of the rooms to the swimming pool. The pool was no issue for me as the weather was bad, but I suspect that will be an issue at other times of the year. Bathroom was just OK also, nothing special. Overall great value for money and good friendly service.

Not for business travel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/20/08
The room in which I stayed had no desk, only a little round table. Charging laptops and phones meant leaving equipment on the floor next to outlets. The wired ethernet connection needed to be strung across the bed in order to reach the table in the room. Though I indicated I was staying for 8 days, the local shuttle service wasn't able to transport me one mile beyond their 'local' service. No change was available at the front desk when I needed to do laundry. Comfortable beds, good housekeeping service.

Great Sleep
By MaliaD, 04/09/07
I was really impressed with my stay at this hotel. I was in the Dallas area on business and the hotel was very accomadating. The bed was wonderful and suprisingly confortable for a hotel. I noticed the room was a joining room which will be something I remember when traveling with my family. The lobby was nice and had plenty of coffee, beverages, and snacks. In the evening there was even fresh cookies, chips & salsa, wine and cheese - it was GREAT! They also have a small little business center with two computers hooked up; I found that very accomadating considering I was their on business. I will plan on staying at Hampton Inns in the future.

Give us some air!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/06
We chose the Hampton Inn due to the wonderful location. The night we arrived the hotel was booked due to all the althetic events in town. We had a confirmation for a non smoking room but were booked on the smoking floor. The smell was horrible. I was told there were no other rooms available. The lobby was full of baseball players and the halls were filled with many young ladies who were in town for basketball. It was extremely hot this weekend so the lobby was a cool place to sit and talk. The hotel rooms were so hot that we could not sleep. The heat mixed with the stench of stale smoke was unbearable. I informed the clerk of the A/C problem and he said someone would check it out. After the second night we asked to be moved and the second room was even hotter than the first. We started asking everyone if their rooms were hot and they told us that the reason they are all in the lobby is because it was the only place where it was cool. We seriously considered sleeping in the lobby. A dip in the pool was out of the question due to the green color of the water. The water needed serious cleaning and chemicals. Even though our room was not cleaned until after 5pm, the room was clean and there were plenty of pillows. Breakfast was good. Lots of bread choices and great coffee. Managements denial of an A/C problem and the mix up with the confirmation for a non smoking room will prevent me from staying here in the future.

We are frequent visitors
By Shelly, 03/17/06
This Hampton Inn is really nice. The decor is nicely done, and the beds are very comfortable. They offer connecting rooms, so when we travel with the family it is convenient to have the kids in their own room. They also offer refrigerators in some of their rooms. There is an outdoor pool which is always a plus, and we have found the staff to be very friendly and accomodating.
