Would I go back to this place? NEVER!

My husband and I stayed here for New Years Eve. The 2 people (reception clerks I guess) were outside smoking, didn't appear to be working at the time. Upon going upstairs (outside) to our room there was garbage lying around. Inside our room was very dark, turned on light(s) room was still dark (no kidding!) There was a space heater for heating the room. I had to use the washroom, had to put toilet seat down, which I had to clean - extremely DIRTY!!!! Had to ask for coffee several times, but what was the use, the coffee maker didn't work! Very out-dated, very dirty - all for the 'low price of $100.00. We were extremely disappointed! Refused to stay but did not get reimbursed

The rooms shown were in the new addition are NOT what we were given. We refused to stay with our two kids in a room with mold on the bathroom ceiling, filthy carpets and a major party going on upstairs. Another couple entered our room with a passcard after we arrived - apparently a mixup at the front desk. They attempted to move us to another room which was equally dirty. There is obviously NO maintenance at this hotel as my young daughter later mentioned that she saw HAIR in the old stained steel tub. The hot tub was not working ... and even the light switch plate (which costs about $1.00 to replace) was broken in half. It was dingy and even the lighting was dismal. The manager kindly phoned the owner for me who promptly refused to refund our money despite our issues because we booked through Expedia. Is this false advertising or just plain scamming the public. On New Year's Eve we found ourselves driving 2 hours home because this place needs to be shut down by the Niagara Health Inspectors. An absolute dump.

HORRID!!!!!

This is the worst motel I have EVER been to!!!!The motel is run by two Pakistani's who could not care less and hate work. The first thing I see in my room is a RAT TRAP on the corner of my bed. There is a SPIDER INFESTATION because they are hidden around the beds and in the corners of the room! The manager walks around at night - its really disturbing. They sound okay on the phone, but when I had an issue with booking at the motel they become the RUDEST and most MONEY GRUBBING PEOPLE to deal with. I felt like I was on candid camera the whole time.

You get what you pay for.

This was probably the worst cheap hotel I have ever stayed in. We tried to check in an hour early and the owner said "Your room is ready, but you have to pay 10 dollars if you want it now." We didn't, we just came back an hour later. No fridge, no microwave, no hairdryer, the coffee pot had no outlet to be plugged into. The owner CAME INTO OUR ROOM while we were sleeping (he claims there was a mix up and he thought the room was vacant. I was so scared after that.) There were all kinds of weirdos partying in the parking lot all night.The "free breakfast" was bread, some bruised apples & a few muffins.The indoor pool was hot, like bathwater, and the hot tub was actually colder than the pool. There was a random guy sleeping outside near the pool. The wireless internet did not work. This place was decently clean, but it was just too weird. No one should EVER open your door while you are sleeping in your room. The owners seemed to be trying, but it was not a pleasant stay and I barely wanted to sleep there for a second night. The ironic thing is that the owner kept saying to us "give us a good review online!" I would if I could, because they seemed nice, but I would never tell anyone to go there.

Not the Greatest Experience

The room wasn't that clean. They needed major renovations. The parking lot had trash laying around. An inspector came and closed the outdoor pool. There wasn't A/C in the 2nd bedroom. We had prostitutes that we're trying to sell the hotel's refrigerator and microwave to us. The breakfast wasn't so great and the containers were filthy. The one good point~The people working were kind. We'd never stay again.

False Reviews

As a former employee, knowing that Paul is writing these reviews I have to tell you the other side of the hotel. Huge mold problem, most room heaters do not work or air conditioning units. The house keeper Shari has been caught stealing items like Ipods etc. The pool has a huge leak and the heater is a mess. The moisture from the pool is causing the walls to soften, was advised that the ceiling is too soft and might cave in but they do not care. Overall this place is a disaster and I refuse to work there.

Room service sucks!

Liked:Low price. Hated: Room service will attempt to barge in your room at 8:40 am while the vacationing traveller sleeps in. And then, they only make the beds and change the towels. If you're in your room, they just hand you your towels and say they're done. Air conditioner barely worked and leaked constantly. Indoor pool was too cold and the hot tub was broken. And the list just goes on and on...

nothing good to say about this place last year we stayed and had no trouble with any staff the housekeepers were great whoever wrote the review saying they worked never did just a angry person as far as this hotel goes now will never come back front desk is rude not helpfull at all the rooms are horride the pools I wouldnt let my dog swim in it terrible service worst ever

I will go back to this inn for the cleanliness. I usually look for cleanliness in a hotel and this one was very much to my likeness.

We liked the quick service we received. The room was very relaxing and comfortable. Everything was great except for the pillows, they were too low. Either give better pillows or give two pillows. I will appreciate this very much. Breakfast I will give 2 stars. Not to my likeness.
