Super 8 Beaufort Paris Island, Port Royal

I liked the ability to walk to my room a few feet from the trunk of my car to unpack and pack. Really comfortable beds, feather down blankets and bed covers. Room was clean and turn down service was offered during my stay with none of my personal items touched. Nice clean pool, too few chairs though. Lady at the front desk not very friendly, just does her job. Breakfast had dried out tiny muffins and pastries. No coffee ready both days when I went in. Cereal and juices are available too. Room had hair dryer, iron & board, mini coffee maker, shampoo & conditioners with soap. Ice maker outside. Mini fridge, no freezer and microwave. Clean mini towels with very low thread count. Wifi availble at 2-3 bars but ok speed. Check in 3, check out 11am. Restaurant & stores closes around 9pm, get there earlier. This hotel is further (than other hotels) from most stores & restaurant but very close to Parris Island. You won't make it back to your room by checkout on graduation day. Expect to leave out of Parris Island about 11-12pm on Friday after graduation, later if you go the px store or your child has to do banking things etc. Good hotel if you have a big group with you. It's more private. I paid about $75 a night.

room was nice and clean. we had a pleasent stay. very close to parris island and the beach. very accommodating hotel per value.

Like another reviewer wrote...this room reeked of cigarette smoke, was dirty, extremely loud people/parties, and the staff is NOT real friendly. I would never stay in this hotel again.

The room reeked of smoke. The staff was not helpful about check-in. There was left over Chinese food in the microwave. And the neighbors in the next room partied all night. You get what you pay for, but it should be better than this
