Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge, Pilanesberg National

Trip was too packed, and did not allow for self-indulgence. Lodge was under renovation so service area was not conducive for relaxation. However, roomwas perfect for us.

Now this place was fantastic, game drives, the hole, wildlife, staff, rooms, pool, sun city - ALL were out of this world. Recommend it too anyone.

Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Kwa Maritane for 2 days of total pleasure. Kwa Maritane is great for families and so much to do and see for everyone. Take a game drive with Willim in the afternoon as there is so much to see. I was in awe at the high quality furnishings and surroundings, the food and service, everything was just superb. Total paradise in Pilansburg.

Our first visit to SA was not to be a dissapointment when we checked in at the KWA Maritane Lodge.We stayed for 2 nights,the accomodation was second to none,the food was out of this world,the service was excellent and the staff very friendly.We too had the company of a large Bull elephant close to the dining room one evening drinking from the water hole and stripping bark from a tree for his supper.From the TV in your room you can sit and watch any activity which may be taking place from the animals around the water hole.I would recomend this place to anyone and I am now looking to make a return visit one day.What wonderful memories.

This place is the best place i have ever stayed. The location, the service, the food is great. I have been back twice and it doesn`t fail to impress me. Any one thinking of visiting SA should go here. On each occasion i have been lucky enough to see the big 5 and the last time a group of 3 lion take down an impala. Absolutely fantastic. The game drives are an experience i will never forget.

It is very expensive but the underground walkway to the hide was fantastic. The servers are very eager to please. There is a super selection of food at the buffet including ostrich or kudu depending on the day. An elephant came right up to the dinning room! Incredible experience!
