For a little bit more money than a cheap fleabag motel, you can get the royal treatment. Pros: Clean, spacious rooms with a flat screen TV and a small fridge. Nice pool and hot tub for you and the kids. Staff is very freindly and aims to please. Good clean bathrooms that have been recently updated. Free breakfast and dinner with optional drink tickets. Elevators, Lobby, and free Wi-Fi that actually works. Cabernet was surprisingly good. Free Soda bar with popcorn. Cons: Decor is a little out of date but it's aged gracefully. Chef Ramsey is not cooking the meals, keep the Pepto nearby. Good signs: Ontario license plates pack the parking lot. (more than a dozen of notoriously fussy cheapskates can't be wrong) Safety: Staff and hotel literature stress security protocol at all times. (as you should at all times) Michigan to Florida, THIS IS YOUR STOP!!

We stayed at Drury Inn for 1 night on our way to Florida. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. After checking in we checked out the room which was clean and well maintained and then went down to the 5:30 kick back which was very… nice. The bartender was great and the manager walked around to see how everyone was doing which was a great opportunity for us to tell her how helpful the individual checking us in was. After the 5:30 kickback we went back to the room and put our suits on and proceeded to the pool. The pool was refreshing and my husband loved swimming both inside and outside (I prefer inside). We also took advantage of the hot tub and after an 11 hour drive it was perfect to relax in. My husband did use the fitness room which he liked, I relaxed in the very comfortable bed while he was working out. In the morning we enjoyed the hot breakfast (eggs, waffles, biscuits/gravy, sausage, etc.) And then got back on the road to Florida. A big Thank You to the Drury Inn staff for making our stay wonderful. We will be looking for other Drury Inns in our travels

We arrived in our room and it had an awful odor. We asked for something to be done about it. We even asked the maid for some spray deodorizer. No one would help us! That first night was awful! The second night was differnet b/c different people were working the front desk. This time our request was taken seriously. One of the employees came upstairs and smelled our room firsthand. She got us a new room within minutes. She even helped us move our stuff. She sprayed our new room with Peach room deodorizer before we arrived. She was so helpful!! The hotel has a free hot breakfast buffet with eggs, waffles and sausage. It even offers free afternoon snacks such as pop corn, chips and cheese or chips and salsa. I might consider staying here again.

I really liked the location. It is well placed with many dining options close by. The pool was very nice for the kids. The price is right, a great package.
