Hyatt Place Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne

I recently stayed at the Hyatt in Ft. Wayne, IN. The staff was extremely rude, especially Tina. She treated my friends and I like complete garbage because we had tattoos, wore jeans and t-shirts, and had a few beers. The other people in the hotel that were wearing suits and dresses were treated wonderful, even though some were also drinking. If they had tattoos, they must have been covered up. We were thrown out of the hotel by police escort at 6am. We were made to leave the property though everyone had been previously drinking. At least no one was hurt. We were only at the hotel for 3 hours. We paid the same amount of $$$ as everyone else, but had to go stay somewhere else. We were told to stay at a "cheaper hotel more suitable for our type of people". I was completely offended!!! They judged my friends and I because of the way we looked. I thought the world was past that kind of crap, but apparently not in Ft. Wayne. The world will be a better place without that kind of ignorance in it. I will not return to Ft. Wayne. I will go where I and "my kind of people are accepted" Just so happens that is EVERYWHERE ELSE!! The Hyatt in Ft. Wayne, IN on Washington Center is staffed with judgmental, discriminating, rude, dirty teethed, bad smelling people. I didn't judge them at first for that. Maybe I should have since they already had their minds made up about me and my friends. I did also have a problem with the towels in the bathroom smelling like urine??? OFFENDED!!!! Also, I have never had a problem at any other Hyatt. All the locations in Ohio are wonderful and accomadating.

if you are looking for a nice hotel near Piere's to stay while you will be attending a concert I strongly advise you to look else were they do not tolerate and noise past 5pm and they will call the cops and have you removed with no questions asked (our next door neighbor cranked up his T.V and left and we got removed by Fort Wayne's Pigs because of him ) if you have tattoo's or any body mod you are marked from the time you step foot in there door .The pull out sofa bed smelled like mold and urine

I traveled with a group of ladies and arrived at the entrance of Hyatt Place when our vehicle died completely. The staff went way beyond the call of duty to help us and see that our weekend went as smoothly as possible. The room was large, fresh and clean and there were foods/snacks available 24 hours. In addition there were fast food and dine-in restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend Hyatt Place in Fort Wayne, IN.

the room was poorly lit. the fridge was noisy. there was cheap furniture falling apart. the doors had big gap around them. you could see daylight around them. i wouldn't stay here again.

The morning we left the lady that was doing the breakfast room. I'm truly sorry I did not get her name. She went above and beyond. The food we had was excellent. The fruit was fresh the O.J. was cold. The Bagel's were fresh and soft. The presentation was excellent. Please let her now that was a high light of our stay. She had dark long hair medium height and a wonderful smile. Please find her and Thank her for that. Also the person who took care of our room did a excellent job. It was clean, organized, It was beautiful. Just like the pictures,but so much better. Whomever it was please let them know it made my stay. That someone appreciated there effort's and that they did an excellent job. Thank You.

We had late games at The Dome and the staff was so accomadating to get us in for early arrival. I would highly recomment this hotel

The rooms were beautiful. It makes your stay more enjoyable when you know you will be staying in a clean relaxed atmosphere with no worries. I am very picky. I am so glad we picked your Hotel. Please make sure all your staff know they made a wonderful stay for 2 people. The all should be commened for there excellent job they all did. From checking in to the room was wonderful to the great breakfast to the checking out. There isn't enough space to say how impressed I was. Thank you again for a excellent experience at your Hotel. The pictures on the internet don't do your hotel justice.I would highly recommend your hotel.

Great room and service! My wife and I go every November to Ft. Wayne to see a hockey game and Christmas shop. The room here was clean and had all the perks you would expect. Quiet too!

I live in hotels about 350 days a year on business. I have never stayed at this chain before, so I wanted to give it a try. I should of stuck with my first instincts of this place when I first called the hotel. Against my better judgement I decided to book there anyway. Wrong decision!!! My plans got changed and I had to cancel the first night of my stay, which I did in plenty of time. They did not give me a cancellation number. I checked in and out without any mention of paying for a no show for the first night. Then a charge shows up on my credit card. I call to resolve the problem and they tell me it is for a no show. They insist that I did not cancel because I don't have a cancellation number. So they are calling me a liar. My credit card will not credit me either because the hotel says I am lying. I have never been treated so rudely by any other hotel. I will never stay at this chain again. On top of all this, the hotel room was not great. It has cheap furniture that is falling apart. The bathtub is very old and disgusting. There are big gaps around the door and everytime someone opens a door to their room or the side door from outside, the door in the room bangs back and forth. Sounds like someone knocking on your door all the time. Also saw a big bug crawl under someone's door. Stay Away!

I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Fort Wayne, In on August 3rd. The room was very modern. The decor was wonderful. I purchased my room on Hotwire. I noticed on Monday August 6th that the hotel charged my card for the room. It is now a week later and I still have not been credited on my credit card. Don't bother calling their corp. "customer service" number all they do is email the hotel GM. The hotel was wonderful. But, based on this experience I will never stay at a Hyatt Place hotel again.
