Hotel Coral & Marina, Coronita

This is a very nice Hotel. We keep our boat here, and like the place as it is clean, and the amenities are great. Has indoor pool and hot tub, and outdoor pool and hot tub. Nice bathroom/shower facilities. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great breakfasts. This is a secure hotel, guard going in and out. So that makes you feel very safe. Towns about 5 minutes away. Prices are slightly less than the states for dining out.

We go here almost every year and it is beautiful!! It's low key and not too big and the service is wonderful. The hotel restaurant is also one of my all-time favorites of authentic Mexican food.

We liked a couple of things about the hotel and marina. First, the staff was great and very helpful. They gave us a room overlooking our boat in the marina. the Marina staff transported us to the Immigration and customs office and guided us through filling out all of the forms related to bring a boat into Mexico.

Hotel generally clean. Restaurant staff very courteous and made the dining experience a pleasure... Sunday brunch price is quite steep. We experienced a very upsetting experience with the front desk and housekeeping. I had turned the door hanger around to the wrong side, indicating "do not disturb"... when we returned about 3:30pm I realized the mistake. When my wife & her friend contacted the front desk they were told there was nothing they could do to get the room clean. Then she went down to the front desk to talk to the manager on duty... same response. They got the "brush off" and came back to the room very upset. We were walking thru the lobby a bit later to go to dinner, and I stopped @ the front desk to talk to the same manager... as a man, I got immediate agreement to get the room cleaned while we were gone to dinner (and it was done)... perhaps it is OK in Mexico to "blow off" the females, but this is unacceptable to me. @ $285 a night for a room, this is hardly the treatment I would expect.

On May of 07 i went to a weeding to Ensenada Coral Marina, is a great place to stay! very clean good service and very nice rooms i will go back anytime, i recomend the place go for it !

love the swimming pools are gorgeous and one of them is indoor and heated the most relaxing thing ever!!!great place!!! Love the pools, the spa and friendly people great food at the restaurant pretty relaxing environment cant wait to go back for my next vacation!!!

My wife and I have been to this hotel twice in the past year because it's an excellent place to relax and be pampered. The staff speaks fluent English and is attentive to your needs. The view from every room is beautiful; whether a view of the garden and pool area or the ocean. Also, the restaurant called "Antares" is conveniently located inside the restaurant, with live traditional Mexican music on the weekends that adds to the charm and beauty of this place; yes, the food was delicious, especially the tortillas that are hand-made in front of you (also, try the limonade with mineral water). The service at the restaurant is also excellent. Why? After walking you to your table, they take your coat, pull the chair in for you, place the napkin on your lap, etc... they do all the little things to make you feel special, but it wont cost an arm and a leg. NOTE: as a sign of respecting your time and space, your server will not bring your restaurant bill until you request it. I say this because reading some of the other reviews, it appears that some guests have interpreted this as slow or bad service. The bottom line is that the server doesn't want you to feel rushed. Also, My wife and I don't have kids, but we did see a lot of families with their kids. There's an outdoor park area with jungle gym for kids, basketball court, volleyball, tennis. Inside the hotel is a heated pool, two jacuzzis, gym, spa, and games area (billiards, foosball, chess, etc.). As far as business trips, the hotel has meeting rooms (for seminars or other large group meetings) and wireless internet in each room and suite. Overall, this hotel is an excellent place to get away and relax at an affordable price.

We have the best time, very clean service was great, food was good I have no complains I will go back no problem, I love the view specially in the morning drinking my coffe my friends and I had a great time I don't understand those complainters people.

everything was great, had a nice dinner. walked around to see the shops and marina. finally went to bedand a cockroach was spotted on the bed. couldn't sleep the rest of the night.

The Coral is the nicest hotel in town with a fabulous bar, banquet sized resteraunt with view, great pool and spa area, lots of parking (including underground) for even your biggest toys (including your yacht). The rooms are spacious, well equiped, clean, and have beautiful balconies, large enough for a quaint breakfast overlooking the small harbor and Pacific Ocean. A beautiful lawn below suggests that this would be a great place for a wedding. A van could be pre-arranged to transport guest from San Diego airport or it is an easy drive for anyone in the Southwest. We live about 2 hours from the Mexico/San Diego border and it is another hour and a half past that. The only downside is the hotel is not within walking distance to any of the shopping or nightlife that Ensenada has to offer. But taxis are always on site ready at all hours (town is only 8 minutes south on a smooth 4 lane highway) and being out of town it offers more peacfulness than the hotels downtown. I love it.....
