Fechin Inn, Taos

Was a nice and conveniently located place. Someone in Taos has confirmed that they have gone out of business.

Tried calling and the number has been disconnected no new number. Probably out of business. being made into a time share.

Close to shopping, walking distance to good restaurants. Entrance is easy to find, but the rooms are off the main road so it's very quiet. Historic places are nearby - check out Kit Carson's gravesite in the park next door. The hotel was so beautiful that we were pleasantly surprised to get a very reasonable $99 rate. We will go again!

I've stayed here twice, once with my family and once while on a trout fishing trip with my buddies. I was impressed with the architecture and room decor as well as the landscaping. It was a 5 minute walk to the town square and restaurants...very convenient. They have a nice bar to relax at in the evening or sit on the porch with your drink and enjoy nature. A breakfast bar comes with the price of the room which I thought was tasty and healthful. I wouldn't hesitant to stay there again.

Put through charge for 1 day without informing me at time of booking, glass and metal objects on carpet floor in room, dirty patio furniture, stale bagles and danish at continental breakfast, weak coffee, room not made up after returned from trip (gave a five hour window), driveway unpaved (potholes, may need front end alignment), Gen. Mgrs. dogs running in hallways (came at me and going for my ankles), advertised cocktail hour (only had a half bowl of chips, art demo cancelled for Friday (no notice to guests), unfriendly management and staff (acts as though their doing you a faver for staying there), dark and dingy hallways, 2 cup coffe pot in room unworkable.
