Days Inn Kokopelli - Sedona, Sedona

Management Travis sold us out on out trip and sold our room and it was booked thru Expedia. Expedia was very helpful. This was a guaranteed room but when we got there all rooms were booked out and no other room was available and my Daughter had a double ear infection and needing to rest, we arrived in Sedona at 1023 and left Sedona 0210 with no other hotels available so we had to drive to Flag Staff that night. Thankfully there was a Days Inn that helped us out. 10/10/10 was not a good day for us. If you stay there....Good Luck......

Hotel lost my reservations, but still charged my credit card for one nights stay.Manager was very rude and hung up on me Would not refund my money.This is no way to run a business! If this review saves one person from staying here, then I have done my job!!

Nice motel with beautiful view of Bell Rock. Enjoyed our two nights. Got home to find we had been billed for 3 nights. Still in resolution.

This is a nice property, nothing special except for the fact that the entire grounds are non-smoking. For those who choose not to smoke, it makes all the difference when you walk into a room ansd find that there is no left over stale cigarette smell. Rooms are well appointed and the location is central and near to hiking and decent restaraunts. The price is a little more than what the others are in the area, but for some it is worth it.

We checked in on a Friday night to take a hot air balloon ride the following morning. After getting into the room we were going to leave our things and go out to eat. We found a live cockroach in the jacuzzi. We reported this on the way out to eat. Upon our return after about four hours we found the cockroach still there an another one in the bathroom. Considering the price of the room, the service left a lot to be desired.

We were in town for a wedding and had stayed one of the two nights reserved; at 4:00 the second night my friend was informed her Dad had passed away suddenly and unexpectedly so we missed the wedding and had to check out early. Our intent was not to ask for financial consideration because of family emergency, but when we were checking out there was a couple who were told there were no rooms available. We explained we had to check out early due to her Dad's sudden death, therefore making two rooms available, and the management blurted out "You still have to pay for the rooms." Not an "I'm sorry" or "that's too bad" - Just Too bad - you have to pay anyway. I didn't expect the rooms to be extravagant in any way, and they were not particularly comfortable or well supplied. But what I found most objectionable was the rude, callous treatment we received by Management staff who supposedly represent one of Arizona's most scenic vacation spots.

It seemed a little on the outkirts of towm but for the peace and quiet was sooooo worth it.
