I finally got it right on my 15th trip to Gettysburg

Being a member of our community Civil War Roundtable I have visited Gettysburg may times and I have stayed at may hotels as well as historic bed & breakfast Inns. It wasn't until my daughter and I visited Gettysburg for the fifteenth time and chose to stay at the Hampton Inn that I found out what a good night sleep on the road really was. The beds were so comfortable that it was difficult for either of us to leave the hotel. I always choose Hampton Inn over any other place to stay no matter where I travel. Nice people, good stay

We had a great experience at the Hampton Inn, Gettysburg. My wife, 2 children and I were well treated by the staff and found the hotel to be clean and well run. We especially appreciated the nice lady that put out breakfast Sat Aug 18.

Terrific hotel-great place to stay

We stayed at this hotel over the Remembrance Day weekend in 2004. It was unbelievable. Clean. Efficient. Plenty of parking. My kids who were 9 and 11 at the time loved the pool and guest area with all the goodies! We felt safe and secure and have been trying to get rooms there since. But because they are so great now everyone knows and we can't book a room for certain events! We are re-enactors and are always there in November and sometimes in July. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful! Amazing! I can't even begin to describe this hotel. It was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and courteous, the pool was fantastic, and the room was flawless. I have been to Gettysburg 8 times, and I have never stayed in a hotel with a quality that's this superior. It was a very serene place with a relaxed atmosphere, but at the same time there was plenty to do. From now on, whenever I decide totravel to Gettysburg, I am going to stay at this hotel!!!!!!!!!

Great Stay in July!

We travel to the battlefields every July 4th and this year we chose to stay off the busy path at the Hampton Inn. Our stay was very nice, clean rooms, great staff, with a free light breakfast. It was very easy to comute to the sights and if you ask anyone they will give you the shortcuts to beat the downtown maze of traffic!! We plan on staying at the Hampton when we return next year.

Hampton Inn -- Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

I arrived in Gettysburg on evening last November and was delighted with my accomodation at the Hampton Inn on York Road. The staff were both friendly and courteous, the room was spacious and immaculate, the morning breakfast was terrific, and the price was certainly right! It's not in the heart of town, but is terrific in every other respect. Would recommend the Ruby Tuesdays right across from the Hampton Inn as a great place to have an inexpensive dinner or to sit at the bar.
