Great Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/12/11
I stayed here twice this winter. Was a guest for Superbowl party in Cave Creek. Stayed again 3 weeks later with several relatives from various states. We all felt it was one of the best B&B's. Beds are outstanding, quiet rooms, great views, close to town. Breakfast was wonderful everything you could ask for. Coffee (coconut) to die for. Owner very friendly and gracious to all of us. She is delightful to say the least. Views from her backyard are glorious. I highly recommend this B&B.

DO NOT STAY HERE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/8/11
My wife and I were going to stay here for the night of the Superbowl. We had plans to go to Harrold's to watch the game and didn't want to worry about driving home late after the game. We were greeted by the owner and everything started out fine. We had invited three coworkers to have snacks and a drink with us before venturing to watch the game. One of our friends sat down on a hammock that had a blanket and pillow on it and was accosted by the owner. The owner said that it was her laundry on the hammock and I quote "couldn't believe that anyone could be so disrespectful for sitting on the hammock because it clearly contained laundry that she would have to redo now." After we repeatedly apologized for the mistake she continued to attack our friend, my wife, and myself saying that we were clearly disrespectful, immature, needed to grow up, and "couldn't believe we didn't ask if it was ok to sit on the hammock". This was literally 30 minutes after our arrival. Thats right, she flipped out over a hammock! We decided to leave right after that and she said that we still had to pay for our room (which we did not since we left before our check in time and never used the room). I have never had such an odd and tasteless display from a business owner for no reason. We were truly insulted and will never return. Let me also add that each person in our party is in our mid thirties, are working professionals, and had no intention of creating a disturbance or acting in an unruly manner. We had one beer open on the patio and obviously she had an issue with our "drinking" and invitation for friends to join for an hour or two. She continued to rant and harass us until we got our belongings packed and into our vehicle. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

one of my best trips, Thank you
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/07
The view was the best and the rooms was clean and food was out standing. We use the out door grill and look around and it just great. At night we got in the over size hot tub and watch the moon (big and bright)as the night time came. Not to far from airport. All by the way we were there in the last week of Oct 2007. Thank you Missy

Peace and quiet.

A truly wonderful experience from check in to check out. Delicious food. Clean, luxurious room. The desert under a full moon is breathtaking. Even the coyotes thought so!

Our Second Home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/1/07
What a delightful place to stay! My husband & I stayed at Spur Cross many times this past year while we were building our new house. We enjoyed and looked forward to each visit. Roger & Karen could not have been more helpful with our many questions about the area and where to go for whatever we needed. Roger's breakfasts are outstanding and the rooms are so inviting and interestingly decorated in southwestern decor. Their location is close to many wonderful restaurants and points of interest.

Best in the West
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/2/06
We were made welcome from the minute we drove in. The rooms were so clean and the property spotless. The views are exceptional, the hospitality even more so. We fell in love with Cave Creek because of the the warmth of Roger and Karen and their willingness to introduce and show us around. A return is definitely in the cards!!

Best place to stay in Cave Creek, AZ
By LEX, 5/9/04
My husband and I had a truely marvelous time at the Spur N Cross B&B! It is located closest enough to Phoenix yet far enough away. The hosts, Roger and Karen, are fantastic! Roger makes a wonderful frittata and delicious banana nut bread! The stargazer patio with fire pit like you have never seen before is a must see! The rooms have all the creature comforts you would want. If you are looking for a getaway with peace and quiet and want to see and hear some different wildlife.. then this is the place for you! The only problem we had.. was that we couldn't stay longer.
