Charming ! Can't wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/30/08
I stayed at Adobe and Stars this past June 2007, and found it to be beautiful and very charming. It was such a warm welcome touch as our hostesses came to greet us in the parking lot. The room was immaculate and well appointed. The views from every window was breath taking. The breakfast of gingerbread waffles was delicious and well presented. It is now a very fond memory that I hope to relive in the near future.

Great B&B in Taos
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/07
My wife and I stayed here last year and again in June this year. We think the rooms are wonderful and the extra large Jacuzzi in each room, is perfect after a long hike in the mountains. Judy, the owner, is wonderful at giving recommedations for about anything you need. From where to eat, the best hiking trails to scenic road trips, she knows this area and has lived here a long time. We will be back many more times. She serves wine and treats in the afternoon and her breakfasts are mouth watering. Preston and Lillian Rose

did not meet expectations
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/07
Inn is run with focus on bottom line rather than Clients. There was not one comfortable chair in our room, nor the public area. Although the bed was comfortable, the pillows were not & there was no headboard. The other furnishings were rustic. The closet was storage of owners things, it could be used for none of our clothes. The headboard would have been useful for reading, since there was no TV, even for videos, in the room. The TV in the public area was rarely operational, and with the uncomfortable seating, not a real option. Almost all glasses are plastic, and although the hot tub was comfortable, it was located away from the facility (through unkept area), and we were not encouraged to use it. There was one table outside with cheap plastic chairs, however it was in a position that looked great from the road, but was impractical for use. The front of the location looked good, but we had to walk through weeds to get to parking & hot tub. There was no garden for comfort of guests. The breakfast was good but simple.

Can't wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/07
Since we found this special B & B several years ago, it's the only place we stay when we're in Taos (which isn't often enough). It would be difficult to find another Inn that provides this level of quality accommodations, service, food, atmosphere, PEACE and QUIET, scenery, proximity to historic sites, skiing, hiking, etc. If you really want to relax, be spoiled and pampered then look no further. We can hardly wait until our next visit.

Worth every penny-will go back
By Anne, 06/09/07
This has to be one of the best B&B's in the USA. Very clean, very friendly (owner/operator),very good breakfasts. Judy(owner)goes all out to provide a wonderful experience. Her attention to details in both the room decorations, the food, and helping the "new visitor" with trips or resturant info. You MUST stay here if you plan a trip to Taos or nearby. The vistas are spectacular and the people are so friendly.

Peace & Quiet at the base of the mountains
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/06
We celebrated our 30th anniversary at this delightful spot. Beautiful flowers and hundreds of humming birds and song birds. Right at the base of the ski areas, it provided wonderful hiking and beautiful views. Just a short jaunt to great restaraunts. The breakfast at the Inn was wonderful and Judy was very accommodating, loaning us a backpack for our trek up the mountain to Williams Lake. We plan to come back and spend more time here and less time in Santa Fe. The hot air ballooning, white water rafting and mountain treking made this a wonderful memorable trip for us both!

Peaceful and Beautiful..
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/06
Adorable little B&B outside Taos on the way to the ski resort. Beautiful mountain views in every direction and a hot tub to watch them from. Fresh fruit and wonderful creations from the kitchen, along with fresh baked bedtime cookies. Relaxing and enjoyable all around!

Our Favorite Taos B&B
By Bronwyn, 05/25/05
The only B&B we will stay in when we go to Taos! We have made this our home away from home in Taos becase it has the most amazing views of the mountains and great sunsets from the hot tub. We usually stay a week at a time and we have never seen the same breakfast twice. After a long day of shopping hiking or skiing, the jacuzzi tub and fireplace are the perfect way to relax.
