Super 8 Salina Schilling Road, Salina

Well we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed two nights IT was close to alot of stores and close to alot of resturants and fast food . we found things very clean in the rooms and lobby and pool.Loved the pool Very quiet even though it had roads around it very quiet . The only thing was the picture is not the same as the one we stayed in same address and street but picture is wrong the motel we stayed has pictures very elegant and clean

Close to I~70 and choices in places to eat. Suite reasonable price. Good for a night stay. Free wireless is a plus. No elevator for second floor to get baggage up, not a big deal for me.

We had a long day of traveling and Salina was our half way point between Texas and South Dakota. The front desk staff greeted us with a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable. When we make the trip again, we will be sure to call on this Super 8 again. And, we will mention it to friends who also stay in Salina.

The super 8 pictured is listed wrong. The super 8 that is actually on Schilling Road is looks different and is really wonderful with a hard working staff. Our visit was very pleasant and the room was much more than we expected.

I am a super 8 employee, and I know how a Super 8 should be cleaned. This motel did not meet my satisfaction. I went to salina for my grandfathers funeral. we had 2 rooms. In my room there was dog hair on the bathroom floor and in the Tub. The room was dusty and there were pieces of candy on the floor under the beds. In my mothers room there were used chew packets behind the nightstand and the top of the refriderator was filthy. I complained that night. If a guest complains in our hotel about something not being cleaned, I go and clean it. They made excuses. I also pointed these things out to housekeeping the following morning and got additude from them. once I returned home I called the customer service number. They filed my complaint an told me that i should have a responce within 10 days. 10 days came and went and I heard nothing. So i called cusromer service again. They looked up my complaint and seen the the motel had not complied and then they handled the situation. I will never stay there again. It was a disgrace to the Super 8 name.
