Unfriendly with poor customer service!

My wife and small baby recently stayed for two nights. On the first morning we were within our time limit to leave the room so that the maid could clean. We stopped off at the reception and told not only the staff but also two maids that are room would need to be cleaned. It was 11:30 and the note that was left at the foot of our room on our departure clearly stated that in order for the room to be cleaned you need to leave by 11:45. Okay, so you figure that with time to spare, along with notifying three members of staff that you could come back to your room later in the day to find that it had been cleaned. Wrong! Nothing was done and when I went down to reception the manager never said sorry. A member of staff later came up (2 hours later) with towels and cleaned out two of the trash bins in the room, much to her displeasure. When we left I notified the acting manager who did not give an apology either. It really is a shame to spend almost $400 for two nights for such poor service and customer service. We had previously been to this hotel twice before but only for one night. The only thing I would recommend for anyone thinking of staying is just stay for one night, two nights and you had better be out of your room early or else.
