Food Horrible & Seriously Overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/08
I attended the Mother’s Day Brunch at the Oyster Bay Inn Restaurant. First, the $35 price tag is an exorbitant price for the food that was offered, even if it is “all-you-can-eat.” Nothing on the menu warranted a $35 price tag. Second, the food wasn’t good at all. Premade French toast; soup that was mistaken for gravy (We found out it was soup by asking for the biscuits); nothing was hot; no toast just ‘continental breakfast’ leftovers; the carving station meat was fatty and overcooked; the bulk of the menu looked like it was cheese and fruit – something found in most continental breakfasts; and it was mostly breakfast/not a brunch (a salad doesn’t constitute lunch).

Best Ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/01/08
Great staff everyone form the front desk to housekeeping. Dinner was one of the greatest I have had. Will return to this hotel everytime I am in the area. 5 star all the way.

Horrible food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/07
We ordered stuffed filet of sole and hazelnut chicken. We got a boiled piece of chcken, with some nuts on top and drizzled with some sort of syrup, it was horrible practically inedible. The sole was fishy tasting and smelled fishy, the crab was insignificant, the vegetables were mediocre. I got a piece of sole wrapped around crabcake batter, not a stuffed sole.

Beautiful View Indeed.
By Rick, 06/19/07
During trip on the Olympic Peninsula, we stopped at the Oyster Bay Inn & Restaurant, WA. The room was reasonable, very clean and with a view of the bay. The best surprise was the restaurant with a lovely decor, excellent service, food well presented and delicious. We would recommanded the inn to all travelers. Thanks.

This place is too nice to keep a secret
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/06
I have returned to this place for the last 20 years. Everytime I bring a new guest, they cant wait to get back here and relax. The problem is nobody will stay anywhere else once they have been here. It is conveniently located. The staff has always been courteous and bend over back wards to help please the guests. We love this place. In fact we plan on heading there next week!

excellent
By kyung k, 10/29/05
We had an excellent experience in the few days that we stayed here while visiting family during our transfer. The staff was friendly, the room was always clean, the continental breakfast was delicious and abundant, and our nights were quiet and undisturbed. I would have to say that it was one of the best Hotel experiences this military family ever had!

Don't stay here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/17/04
I unfortunately had to stay here for 1 night during a business trip. The experience was terrible. The lobby and hallways smelled overwhelmingly like smoke and mildew. While the floor that I stayed on was supposed to be all non-smoking, I had to walk through these areas in order to get to the room. In addition, two of the four lamps in the room did not work. The bedding was not clean. The carpet needed to be replaced. And the street noise was loud. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.
