Opera Cadet Hotel, Paris

I gotta say this hotel really was great! P.S. if you use SweetHotelDeals. Net for booking this hotel they usually have some pretty good hotel deals at this time of the year!

I have traveled to Paris many times and the first two times I went I stayed at the Opera Cadet. Nice, clean and very large for European Hotel. The staff is awesome and the street it is on is close to the Metro and we loved the chocolate and cheese store on the same street. The breakfast is wonderful and we love it there.

I wouldn't say it really deserves 4 stars, more like 3.5. the hotel was nice. The staff very friendly. All english speaking. I bought 2 internet cards, only used one, they let me return the unused one without any questions. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Service was very good. Only complaint, room was small, decorated with Ikea furniture and just not a roomy place. I am used to 5 star accommodations but stayed here because it was the only place available on New Years eve. So I may have had too high an expectation to be fair to the hotel, if your budget minded, and OK with Holiday Inn type accommodations, this is the place to go.

My husband and I and a few friends stayed at the hotel 5 or more years ago and loved every minute of our stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful and they will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. We are coming back this May for our 25th wedding anniversary and cannot wait to get there. My girlfriends and I did a trip to Europe a couple of years ago and ended our stay at the Opera Cadet. They hotel was so warm and friendly they made us feel so at home. The continental breakfast that they provide in the morning really started our day well. Another aspect that I liked about the hotel was the accessability to everything. We were able to take the local trains to all of the tourists spots. We were also close to the Euro-star and just 10-15 minutes away from the Charles De Gaulle Airport. The hotel also made arrangements for us to go to Versaille for the day. I would glady go back and stay there anytime.

I have never written a review before but had to this time! The 5 days we spent in Paris was the very best ever due to the wonderful caring fluent front desk staff! THANK YOU! We have never had such wonderful service. The hotel is lovely and is on a wonderful quiet picturesque street right near the METRO!

Vert nice staff, helped me many times to find the places I wanted to go. Location was fantastic, near ,etro, Air France and open food market just out side. Breakfast was great and very micely arranged. I can't wait to go back.
