Econo Lodge Inn and Suites Foley, Foley

My family wanted to be closer to the beach (Orange Beach & Gulf Shores ) for our Spring Break Vacation but there was no hotels available for that time when we booked which was 2 weeks in advance. But after going through the internet for alot of hotels in that area and we came across the Econo Lodge Inn and Suites in Foley (call them directly not thru an agent because that would be more expensive). Which turned out to be a great place the rooms were more than expected, it wasnt expensive and worth the price. And my mother and significant other were impressed on the decision being last minute. So I would encourage anyone if they are not able to get really close to the beaches to consider the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites in Foley. Plus they have a pool and hot tub in and a nice setup for this too.

The front desk people are rude. The room smelled and the carpet was nasty. Since they changed names this place has gone down hill. I get the impression management has been here too long! You could here them talking about people. Very unprofessional. When I complained about the carpet they said nothing. I had a ripped sheet annd the mattress was dirty. Bathroom had hair in tub and old soap. Will not go back.

The only thing I liked was the outlet across the street from the hotel. I disliked the smell and not clean!! There were spiders and roaches in the room. I was also quoted one price but when I arrived they changed it by $5. It was not worth my money. I would not recommend it to anyone!

Four ladies from Jackson, MS took a trip to Foley, Alabama to do some Christmas shopping at the Outlet Mall last December without any husbands and/or children. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express which was directly across the street from the Mall. We truly enjoyed our stay there, not only because of the convenience, but because the room was so spacious - with two double beds, a sitting area with a sleeper sofa, a small refrigerator and a microwave, new an incredibly comfortable mattresses and bedding, hospitable and extremely nice hotel personnel and most of all, the hotel was clean and inexpensive. We don't have to tell you where we will be staying in the future for our "annual trip"..... you got it - the Holiday Inn Express, in Foley, Alabama.

everyone was really nice and heplfull. the room was alittle dark and the air didn't get that cold but our overall stay was great. location was great for shopping and minutes from the beach.

Our family of 5 (me, husband, mom, 6 year old, 2 year old) enjoyed our stay here. We came to the area to see the Blue Angels in Pensacola. The room was clean and the beds were great. The free breakfast was great in the morning. Great location for shopping at the Tanger Outlet mall which is across the street. Room was a great value too. Staff was good too. We will stay here again.

I booked this place because the internet site listed "Pets Allowed". Upon checkin the clerk told me there would be a $22 nonrefundable deposit. When I complained and asked to speak to a manager, I was told that none was on duty and that I could go elsewhere...not an option after a long day of travel and no reservations at another place..After long waits while the clerk disappeared (I guess to call a manager), I finally agreed to pay the fee so that my pet and wife would not sufficate while waiting.. Don't stay here unless you want rude clerks that speak bad english. PS the room is dirty...They charge me for my small dog that I will not let lie on the filthy carpet!!! LOL

FIRST OFF THE PRICE I PAID $97.00 FOR ONE NIGHT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING WORTH IT. MAYBE A $30-40 RANGE FOR ONE NIGHT. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN BUT NOTHING SPECIAL. DON'T LOCK YOUR I.D. IN THE ROOM BECAUSE YOU WILL NEED IT EACH TIME YOU SHUT YOUR DOOR. THE KEYS DO NOT WORK VERT WELL AND THE STAFF NOT FRIENDLY (THEY MUST NOT LIKE WORKING THERE) I KNOW NEXT TIME I WILL PUT IN A LITTLE EXTRA CASH AND STAY SOMEWHERE WORTH THE MONEY YOU PAY. THE INTERNET ACCESS THEY OFFER DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK

Hotel clerks were rude. Room was not clean - found candy on floor and tub was dirty.

We had a good say at this hotel. Perhaps they have receievd feedback and applied it for future guests as staff we had were friendly....maids were bothersome on the day we were to check out though.
