BEST WESTERN PLUS Addison Galleria Hotel, Addison

The entire facility was poorly maintained. The bathroom tile was still cracked as stated in a previous customer complaint (obviously unaddressed by management.)The room looked, smelled and overall had a dirty feel to it. The rooms impression was that it had been picked up but never cleaned.

We prepaid for four nights. We were given a room on the first floor. The following list sums up our experience: -The website stated that this hotel had an indoor and an outdoor pool with hot tub- No indoor pool and the hot tub didn't work -There was so much dust on the floor of the exercise room that my husband wrote his name in it -Too much furniture in the room, couldn't get luggage into room without moving furniture -The fabric seats and backs of furniture was stained -Black heel marks all over the wall -The dark veneer on the particle board night stand was peeling to show the tan board below -The dresser drawer was off the track and tipped down at an angle -The bathroom floor grout was stained -The sheets and pillow covers were stained -Several cigarette holes were noted on both bedspreads in a non smoking room -The TV did not work -The key cards had to be recharged every day -The maid service was sporadic The second night without TV we called and asked the front desk about it and were told we would have to speak to the manager in the morning. We were given an option of changing rooms the third afternoon. We asked to look at the room. When we entered the second floor room we thought we were in a different hotel. The furniture seating was still stained but the other furniture was in good repair, the TV worked and the bathroom was larger and much nicer. We took the room. Did we get the dumpy bottom floor room because we prepaid?

so many restaurants near by,good location but hotel did not give us extra towels for swiming pool. I did not like that they copy my ID and credit card for record.
