Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, Robinsonville

We like sams town and all the staff which were good to us. We enjoyed getting free rooms and the food was really good . Keep up the good work. we look forward to going back real soon. By Dexter Franklin

i have always liked to gamble at Sam!s but the last time i went there was on July 15 of this year and had been there maybe two hours and reached to get my wallet only to discover it was gone, stolen, by the time you get security and they get the police the thief is gone with the wallet and using credit cards everywhere.It was my fault but i was playing more than one machine. they have him on camera but for what good i do not know they don!t have him and he has used crdit cars everywhere. I felt violated, no money, no check no credit cars, nothing, luckly I had enough gas to get home onI was not offered anything from sam!s, neither have i heard from them in any wayit!s like oh well to bad, you should have been watching well they also should have beeen watching the man was not a player all the did was roam around the casino looking for something to steal so why did they not keep an eye on him a little closer.You would think they would have been a little more concerned but no, not at all, maybe they were afraid some else you find out about and they did, i tell everone if you are going to sam!s, super glue your wallet, if you want it, it not bad enough that you usually loose but it is really bad when you loose and don!t even get to play, and they do not even care did not even want to give me the 10.00 on my players card because i could not show a driver!s liscenes, of course not the theif hafd everything, you would think with a place like that they could afford to compensate a little, just to make sure you get home but ohthey did not care one way or the other, not good business at all heartless people, and that used to be one of my favorite places but i willhave to say that ebded that. I hope this does not hapeen to anyone else but i am sure that it has, because their security and survaliance is not as good as it is suppose to be and you can send this to the owner, not one cup of coffee was i offered, so I would say you need to retrain you staff to be able to be a little more human about thngs like this, you have no idea how it feels to have nothing

Sams Town Casino Tunica has gone down hill! The rooms needed upgrading badly. The bed was way to hard. The room much to small for 139.00! The weekend rate was much to high for the low quality service. The staff was unfriendly. The buffet was horrible. We ate breakfast and dinner there and the price was much to high for such bad, cold food. I was very disappointed and will never go back.

We just returned from Sams Town of which we have been there many times and always have enjoyed and will continue to go back. But there was a problem that needs to be addressed. On Friday the 13th, my husband and I were at the cashier and had to use his drivers licenses. Two hours later we discovered the license missing and returned to the cashier (which had changed shifts). We explained the situation and was told immediately they take licenses and other items to lost and found. We went to security and they called main security and no one had seen the licenses. We retraced all our steps, going over the entire golf course, continually calling the golf pro shop, continually calling security and visiting security at Sams, and no one had seen a thing. Eight hours later we returned to the same window again and asked the cashier about the licenses. She assured us they immediately send those things to lost and found and to contact security. I asked to see a supervisor or manager and she turned around and spoke to a gentleman in the cashier cage. He listened, turned around and picked up my husbands license that he said had been laying on a table all afternoon. Now not only was the cashiers not doing their job but when he saw these licenses, he should have also made sure they were taken to lost and found. We lost eight hours, and were extremely frustrated with no one trying to help us. It was not security's problem, but it was the cashiers and the managers. We are very disappointed our time was spent looking for these licenses and no one seemed to care. Sams is a nice place to go but they need to address this problem right away. When I went into the hotel lobby, a front desk clerk was sitting at the desk and didn't bother to speak or anything. I stood there looking at her and she sat there looking at me. Finally, another one came from the back and greeted me. The room was very much in need of remodeling. I still don't understand the reason for the large TV cabinet and the itsy bitsy TV. The only way that I'd return to this hotel is if I had absolutely nowhere else to stay. There is only one other hotel in Tunica that is worse than this one and that is BALLY's. In addition to bad service, I had to walk a country mile to my room.

The hotel is starting to show its age but not bad enough to keep me from returning. Might be time for a remodel or major maintenance. Our bathroom was so dark that when I closed the shower curtain I almost couldn't see. I also found it difficult to control the temperature in the room - it was either too cold or too hot. I don't understand why the big TV cabinet but little bitty TV. I didn't spend a lot of time watching TV but would have enjoyed more channels to choose from. On my next visit I'll request a pool view room. Very boring sitting by the window and looking at the parking lot. Sam's Town usually has the best rates of the casinos in Tunica so I'll certainly consider it when returning.

Sam's Town is a cozy hotel. The food is excellent. The slots are o.k. Sam's Town security is also great. The staff was friendly. Make sure you play with your players card. While playing with your card, you can receive free rooms coupons via mail.

Every aspect of SAM's was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again. If you are looking for an excellent run casino this is the place. Any one going for the first time will be making plans to return.
