The Worst Stay of My Life

We stayed at the Horseshoe for two days in August of 2005. Without a doubt, they have the rudest, worst trained, least customer-focused staff I have ever encountered in a casino or resort environment.
Staff: Uninformed, rude, ingored us so they could talk amongst themselves, condescending, acted as though our normal requests were a major inconvenience for them.
Food: Buffet was overpriced, food bland and tasteless, staff and management poorly trained, unconcerned with customer service, food was buzzing with flies, hair found in food. Yuck!
Pool: Closes at 8 pm! What if you want to swim when it's still warm outside, but not with the sun beating down on you? They need to rethink this.
Internet Access: Not available anywhere, according to the front desk. Clerk did not know what a "WiFi Hot Spot" was - when told, her response was that "this is a casino, you should be here for fun, not business". Indeed.
Security staff rude and intimidating to my 10 year old son as we walked through the casino on the way to eat.
I cannot recommend anything about this hotel or facility to ANYONE. These people need some serious work. We will NEVER be back.
