Would stay again!
By ,
We paid for an upgrade to a delux room, it was very nice but smaller than I expected. Internet worked great. Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. A short walk from Termini Station, we got the train from the airport and waked with our suitcases to the hotel, although if you are older with several pieces I'd get a taxi, its about 4 blocks and the street corners are not handicap friendly. We walked to the coleseum most evenings to dine out, its a long walk (downhill going and uphill coming back) but very picturesque. We will difinatley stay here again

Atrocious!
By ,
When I arrived at the hotel, I was told by the staff that there had been a 'black out', and I couldn't go to my room. After half an hour of waiting, I was led through the service elevator to a room which had a double bed (I asked for a room with two single beds). Then, I was taken to another room. Unfortunately the electricity was not working, and I had not been given a room key. I went back to recption to complain (down the stairs as the elevators weren't functioning), and when I went back to my room, I found the maid leading a man into it! After she accused me of 'stealing' his room and I was bak in the room, I decided to move hotels. It was unbearable!

I'll come back to rome but not in this hotel
By ,
First off, The staff told me we were being upgraded to a much better room. Room turned out to be rather small so I was wondering how much smaller the rooms can get. Second day here, Tried to get directions to some tourist site and all they told me is the bus number and a real general direction on where to catch the bus. We ended up asking a local fruit vendor who gave us a much better direction on our destination. Our last night there was also frustrating. We had problems with our flight booking and called the front desk for our airline phone number assistance. The front desk gave us a number and when i tried it, it seems to be the wrong number as it wouldnt connect. I tried to call the front desk again but their phone just rang and rang. Thinking they must be busy downstairs, I went down and to my surprise there was no guest at the desk and is being manned by two staff. Phones, were ringing but the staff wouldnt answer them. I asked if I was dialing the right number for my airline and they told me that the number I have is wrong. I replied that they were the ones who gave me the number. The staff then tried to dial a diff. number upon looking at the info from his computer. He then replied " it must be a busy day for the airline since no one was answering". They seemed to be not doing real good at this and so, i decided to head back to my room and just stick with my old flight itinerary since theres nothing i could do. Such a waste of time for this hotel. I wont even get close to this one.....Guest beware!
